The Emperor, Constans XXV, decided to reconstitute the 3rd Cohort of the Imperial Tagmata, a former elite unit of soldiers best known today as the Cohort that entered the Halls of Arden Vul 250 years ago under the leadership of Adrienic and was never seen again. Political and public pressure forced the disbanding of the Cohort because of its tragic and embarrassing history; turns out no one wants to be reminded of the Empire’s failures.
