On this day all have leveled up to 17. Cairon Artax wakes up early and heads into the forest to find Imroth and finds him in tree-form. Imroth informes Cairon that he has found a promising location for a druid grove near the fort. They could investigate together but it’ll take them a couple of days to do so. Cairon decides to take a raincheck on this endeavour and heads back to his friends. And all is well this morning in the instant tavern. It is quickly decided that with new powers come new possibilities and after some shopping in the City of Brass Vanniya tries her new summoning powers and summons X10-N. A quick battle ensues in which X10-N is almost killed instantly by the sword of Cereen Malorn. Only to be saved by Vanniya who returns him to this timeframe; a feat which she is really smug about and repeats to him many times. His tale is that he was on his way to Essembra do donate the 700gp he owed to Cereen to the Temple of Helm when he was abducted and taken to a secret facility where he was upgraded and repogrammed to X10-N.2. After quick deduction Vanniya knows this to probably be in Len’levinehl, a disturbing fact. The party plane shifts back to Fort Redmont to bring X10-N.2 to his new home. And onwards it is to Len’levinehl where they meet up with Elroreth Galvros Nillendil, Vanniya’s father. Vanniya brags about her many accomplishments and her magical prowess and her father listens proudly. He gives her every wish she has and even trades a few favours to grant her entrance to the Halls of Echo. A Harry Potter like room in which you can create every imaginable room you might need. After a quick walkthrough Vanniya tries to slowly explain to her companions that there is to be no anti-magic-fielding in this place for death will come swiftly; repeating this extra slow and careful for Nathaniel Malorn just to be on the save side. Upon entering Cereen manages to disarm a trap with her shield (yes, that’s right, with her shield…). After which some insane fire and brimstone, meteors, scorching raying, inversing of gravity, dragon changing, dragon summoning, continuous cheering of the party (some get more cheers than others is later scribbled down in Nathaniel Malorn‘s diary) and finally simple chopping up finishes of the inhabiting gnoll party. OMG what have I unleashed upon the Dalelands…
