Ember

Twilight Ember, known as Ember, is a 24-year-old Tabaxi who grew up in Farinnel, and works as a bartender at Sundown Respite.

With my an unyielding energy and a deep sense of justice, Ember has always been driven to help others, a trait nurtured by her mother, Shades of Dusk. As a retired adventurer Dusk once thrived in one of the Darrington Brigades. She filled Ember’s childhood with tales of bravery, camaraderie, and the impact of helping those in need. These stories became the foundation of Ember’s values, instilling in her a strong desire to support her community.

As a child, Ember was a whirlwind of activity, never sitting still for long and always seeking new people to meet. This ceaseless energy was both a challenge and a joy for Dusk, who eventually called on Mina, an old adventuring companion, to guide her exuberant daughter. Under Mina’s tutelage, Ember was introduced to the discipline of martial arts. While the meditation exercises proved elusive to her restless mind, the physical training offered a rare sense of focus and calm. It was during sparing that Ember discovered her ability to center herself, channeling her boundless energy into precision and balance.

Ember’s path eventually led her to Sundown Respite, where her outgoing nature and genuine compassion made her a perfect fit behind the bar. Whether she’s serving drinks, listening to woes, or solving disputes, Ember is a beloved fixture in the town. Her weekly puzzle tradition has not only increased business but also created a sense of community, bringing people together to share laughter and camaraderie. These puzzles, crafted with her mother, reflect their shared love of creativity and problem-solving.
