Appearance

Rusco is 157 years old (equivalent to a human’s mid/late 20’s), 5’10, and with an agile build. They have fairly tan skin and fiery copper hair. Their body is adorned with tribal tattoos which they choose to keep visible as patterns and markings in their wildshape forms, and they typically wear simple clothing colored with natural dyes. They carry a staff adorned with elemental symbols and a lunar cycle that depicts a solar eclipse. They were born during the Autumnal Equinox season, the beginning of the Craian star sign of The Tree.

Backstory

It was a total surprise to me when I was named Heir-Apparent, Archdruid of the Moon a few years ago. My life had been pretty simple until that point. Like my brother and sister, I was born with the gift of druidic magic and knew I would one day feel a calling to use my abilities for something - but I never expected this! All of a sudden, I went from roaming the wilds with my friends and learning about animal behaviors to being whisked away to visit the other tribes and council meetings in Inverleigh as a highly respected dignitary. I am expected to learn the traditions and history of our people and to prove myself to be a capable leader for when I am coronated as Archdruid (but I was born and raised in a time of peace among the people of Craia, so honestly it’s been pretty uneventful study…).

At least, it WAS uneventful - until we learned that there are other people out there in the skies. Rumors of conquest spread quickly after the first ship landed. Two years later, The Koalitio has introduced itself and invited Craia to consider joining. I volunteered to join dignitaries from the other tribes on a space venture to see what The Koalitio is all about - a trip that quickly became the start of an adventure!

Close Friendships

Flotsam and Jetsam, twin brothers from a farming family. As children, we were an inseparable trio - and even though adulthood has given us other priorities, we’re still incredibly close. It was no question that I asked them to join me on the First Craian Delegation.

Ideals and Beliefs:
There is no good or evil in nature - there are balance, survival, and consequences.
My body is how my spirit experiences and inhabits the world around me. There is no shame in occasionally indulging the senses and enjoying worldly pleasures.
I cannot tell the tides how to ebb or flow, but I can steer the ship.

Twelve-fold Path
The Salmon: Spent a year in each of the three biomes of the Craian wilderness surviving without magic, communing with the animals in their habitats and foraging or hunting for sustenance.
The Archer: Sacrificing my only way home and only sure lead to find my missing people in order to prevent the spread of mind flayers through the Kialitio and beyond. I was willing to risk my life to protect the innocent people of Bral from certain doom.
