We arrive at Siregull

• We find the blood orange tree
• Rusco, MAC, and Fluke rappel down into the tree
• Greta and several others are near the tree
  • Greta uses a wand to fire magic missiles at us
  • MAC and Rusco climb down
    • MAC tries to explain that we have a Warforged in our group
  • Fluke climbs down
  • Greta doesn’t react immediately but four others advance on him with weapons drawn
  • Fluke tries to be as non-hostile as possible
  • One of the people ties Fluke up
    • Fluke does not resist
  • The group takes us to a rundown mansion where several other people are waiting
    • We are interrogate
      • We explain why we’re here
      • We find out that these people are the resistance movement
    • Fluke is not untied
  • The resistance needs more people and better training
  • The king seems to be searching for something among the ruins
  • It is unknown how he was able to afford his army
    • He most likely has someone funding him or he hopes to use the planet’s resources to pay the debt

Session 50 (2/25/24)

We spend some time with the resistance

• They share their food with us
• Fluke remains tied up
• We suspect. that King Sterling is after something in the ruins
• We decide to check out some ruins nearby to rescue some prisoners and try to find out what they’re searching for
• Rusco and Mina spend some time finding out about different animals in the area

LONG REST

• During the night, Rusco comes to visit Fluke
  • Fluke is frustrated by how he’s being treated but understands why they are acting that way
  • Fluke gives Rusco a ring that has the Astra Extari logo etched into it (spell-returning ring infusion)
  • Rusco talks about some of their worries and observations regarding the mission they are on

We prepare to visit the ruins

• MAC makes Fluke a hat to hide his mohawk

We sneak up to the ruins

At the ruins

• We do some reconnaissance
  • There is one of the bird creatures overseeing the operation
  • There are about a dozen prisoners and several Warforged guards
  • Mina and Rusco turn into black dear to get a closer look
    • Any emissary arrives to talk to the bird creature
      • The kind wants the creature to abandon this project and come back to the city
        • The bird creature declines and says that he doesn’t care about the king’s plans

Session 51 (3/3/24)

Rusco and Mina make their way back to the group and tell everyone what happened

We start moving to free the prisoners

We surprise the guards

FIGHT!!

• Rick is killed

Session 52 (3/10/24)

The fight continues

• We defeat the guards and revive Rick but the bird creature escapes

We find two scrolls of protection and a journal

We are starting to suspect that the Return may be involved

MAC explains that the Warforged came from House Canneth

• Her father is the creator and main producer of Warforged

MAC explains that she was disowned and thrown out because she didn’t perform well enough to carry on the family name

We start training the people we rescued

Fluke investigates the lens and the site

• He isn’t sure why it was built but it was definitely important

MAC tries to read the journal but falls unconscious and has to be revived

Rusco uses plant growth to cover our tracks

• There are some trees that don’t grow when the spell is cast
  • The land around them seems to have been poisoned

We head back to the mansion

Session 53 (3/17/24)

We’re back at the manor

• Arwik works on training the people we rescued
• MAC and Morti perform an autopsy of one of the Warforged
  • MAC finds several new features
    • The most notable one is a string of copper wire in it’s head
      • It seems to be able to receive messages

Rusco, Mina, Fluke, and Greta go to the capitol to find out what is happening there

Long Rest

• During the first night, Fluke inspects the spyglass that Greta uses
  • There is a small effect when he uses darkvision to look at it
  • Fluke is unable to discern anything new about it
