Session 55 (3/31/24)
We discuss our plans
- Gretta wants to destroy the dish rather than try to take it over (MAC agrees)
- The Warforged obey directives and not being able to communicate would cripple the king’s ability to control them
- This would also help to encourage others to join the resistance
- Rick wants to gather more information (Rusco agrees)
We still have some time before the giant Warforged is operational
We talk about how to keep in touch with Commander Ashine - We can use sending 8 times a day
- Rick wants to find a way to communicate that won’t use up our magical resources
- A woman (Sherri) offers some assistance
- One of her uncles is a runner in the castle
- He probably knows a better way to send messages
- One of her uncles is a runner in the castle
We may be able to use the fact that MAC is from House Cannith to gain access to the city
- Greta is nervous about using a prominent name like Cannith
Rusco has some contacts who may be able to help (Nikolai Lestat, Eldaerenth Arafiel)
Rick tries to compose a letter to send (assuming we can find a way to do it) - It’s not very good
- Rusco spends a fair bit of time improving it
- A lot of the resistance members sign it
Rusco uses divination - Question: If we continue on this path, what is the outcome for the people of Siregull?
- Answer: Things will get better for the people of Siregull, but worse for the resistance.
We realize that The Return has orchestrated this coup to help them find the Dark Sun - We let Commander Ashine know that The Return is involved on Siregull
We plan to take out the communications tower tomorrow.
