We arrive back at the manor

• Arwik is able to remove the poison from Greta
  We discuss what we’ve discovered
• It might be possible to rig something up so that we can hear the messages that the Warforged are being sent

Session 54 (3/24/24)

We discuss what to do about the communications system

• We could take over the signal
• We could blow it up
  We try to figure out how large the Warforged is that the king is trying to build
• If Fluke’s drawing is accurate, it’s going to be massive
  We start working on the book again
• MAC tries to read the book again
  • It starts to make sense but then drives her mad and she runs away
  • We investigate the book to try and figure out what might happen if we cast dispel magic on it
    • It appears that dispelling it would cause parts of the book to be erased
    • The book is written in the language of Pandemonium
      • You have to be protected to read the book
        • We have to figure out how to protect ourselves
• MAC tries to read the book through the lens
  • She is successful but the lens doesn’t seem to have helped

The book talks about several wizards who have come together with a shared goal in mind
The ruin site is referenced in the book as the Lost Temple to the Burning Star

• It is a place where rituals and payments are made to keep a burning star
  • There are several dates and a cost of one soul to be paid on those dates
• It talks about how the site was created so the king would not lose the star again
  The bird creature was investigating the site hoping to find clues about the location of the Dark Star
• Text about the Dark Star
  • For it is lost, but it will return
• Greta does not know what the Dark Star is
• The bird creature was looking for four lenses
  • It has three of them
  • Greta has the fourth
    • The lens has given her powers
    • We have to keep the lens protected

MAC uses sending to contact Commander Ashine

• MAC: Hey, it’s MAC. On Siregull. Building massive Warforged. Missing one integral item. It’s in our possession though. Danger is imminent. Not only to Siregull, but (sending ends) far beyond. Help!
• Ashine: Glad to hear you’re okay. I will speak to those above me in search of permission. Will report when orders arrive.

  • It seems that MAC wasn’t given the whole story about the origins of the Warforged
