After some more dungeon delving the vampire was found, fought and defeated. H’arald landed the finishing blow by blowing both him and the vampire up with a fireball. The villagers were saved and sent to H’aralds father’s castle where they can start a new life.

Bear, Gaige and H’arald travel towards the Marsh of Chelembir. They pass some kind of weird bridge where Cyric definitely didn’t kill Bhaal, no sir, that conspiracy theory is too farfetched for this group of woke adventurers! We found the village of Yulan but it was already looted, not a silver to be found, so we moved on. in the Marsh we found some weird crypt lit with torches which, as it turned out, weren’t magical at all. Gaige and Bear spent a night being bitten by bugs and getting chills while H’arald slept like a baby inside his lamp.

The next morning the cunning adventurers boldly strode into the Vampire Brayden’s lair, throwing the doors wide open. H’arald got caught up in his very fashionable cape, otherwise he would have definitely gotten the doors open. Confronted by the vampire himself Gaige quickly threw a vial of holy water but alas … it was an illusion. A bit confused the illusion wandered off after vaguely threatening the party.

A few vampire spawn and squirming tentacles later there was a lot of blood but no Brayden yet. We continue next time, same bat channel, same bat time!
