Skullport (ok, dit is het beste wat ik van de samenvatting kon maken die ik gekregen heb…het is een beetje als zakdoekje leggen…):

The party talks to a mindflayer on the slave market of Skullport from whomH’arald Fornax buys the golden tip that Grunswick Sr is last seen in Waterdeep. After this the party indulges itself on the slave market. Saga Amberfall buys a few children on the slave market en sets them free in Saerloon or Suzail (?). Gaige also buys a few slaves from her hometown and sets them free too, somewhere (?). After an unpleasant encounter at al local tavern with a bunch of Ruffians from the Firepitter crew, the party presures one of its halfling members to give them some information about the thieves guilds. After which he needs to disappear so the party tries to shove him through a portal too, but he seems to have family and with some magical persuasion he and his family are relocated to Suzail and given 1g piece to build a new life. The evening ends when the fighting starts!

The fight starts in the portal shop, which is also a book- and alchemistshop. Gaige, H’arald Fornax, Peter Zonnestraal face 6 ruffians and their boss. Outside are 2 more back-up-ruffians and there is the shop owner Tasselgryn. H’arald Fornax surprises friend and foe and tanks the whole bunch without invoking aggro of the lot. Tasselgryn scares one away, Peter Zonnestraal almost stabbed to death by a rogue and now lives only thanks to Gaige‘s sanctuary spell. The leader is eventually killed and pushed many feet away, this breaks the fighting spirit of the bunch and at the eleventh hour Moriana Duskwalker swoops in and deals some finishing blows to some already deadly wounded foes. The party met Moriana Duskwalker in the tavern where they fought the Firepitters. She’s a real pirate this one, with hat, rapier and … damn no ship. She lost her ship “Hell and High Water” in a mutany to a rival drow captain named Niz’m Do’An. This is where we come in. And in return she’ll take us to where Grunswick Sr actually is: Luskan. But there is also the matter of the lying mindflayer who took somewhere between 240-1000g from H’arald Fornax and Peter Zonnestraal convinces him to not let this one slide; also cause the ruffians appear to have been sent by him (for reasons not understood). So, they go to the slave market once again to confront mister lying tentacles in all the wrong places. Only to learn that taking on the Xanathar’s guild head on might not be the best strategy at this particular moment in their adventuring careers. But hey, after some friendly persuasion by Peter Zonnestraal, H’arald Fornax gets 10g back and is not killed! Win-win.
Next stop is a very luxurious restaurant with Moriana Duskwalker to plan the next steps.
