23 Eleint 1491
This evening starts staring down into the mouth of a great purple worm refurbished into a luxuourious tavern in Skullport named Inn: The Worm’s Gullit. It is here we are supposed to find 2 old friends of Moriana Duskwalker named Murtak the Orc and his sister Onca the Half-Orc. After dinner they show up, and H’arald Fornax sweet talks them into a mutiny on the pirate ship Moriana wants to reclaim (originally called the Hell and High Water en after the most recent mutiny rebirthed as The Wailing Whench by her new captain Nizzim D’oan; the one we are going to help keelhaul with Moriana).
Back to the interior of the purple worm where we are now not only speaking to Murtak and Onca, but also their pirate-hammock-buddies Gev and Taman (also orc, half-orc or three-quarters-orc). They all join in the coming mutiny after some insurances from Moriana herself.
After a lot of beer we split up to get a good night of sleep. But Peter Zonnestraal and Bear Moonmusk notice a stranger (later called Zack) exiting the worm-pub hastily and run after him and grab him before he leaves. After paying of the bouncer the drag the man to an alley and frisk him and he appears to be an assassin of the Xanathar’s guild with Crimson Veil poison and dagger in place. Bear finds two blue eyes on his face and the man still holds his resolve and tells us nothing about his patron within the guild. At this point we decide to let him go and at the same time Saga Amberfall and H’arald Fornax enter the alley and H’arald Fornax “befriends” him (Zack is his name) with magic and he spills all information. He even lets us take him to a certain portal shop Shop: the Poisoned Quill where we teleport him to Suzail and H’arald Fornax promises to write him a letter someday. After this we head for his home and find his stash of gold and leave him his promised letter. Peter Zonnestraal finds another bottle of Crimson Veil and gives it to Tasselgryn for her to investigate and in return gets 5 bottles of antidote when it is ready.
The next morning we write a letter to captain D’oan of the Wailing Wench that he is summoned by the Xanathar’s guild to the house of this Zack. But alas, the captain didn’t take the bait and sent a few of his men of the ship to investigate (is our assumption). So quick change of plans and we decided to storm the ship ahead of time. Gathering our allies (Moriana, Murtak, Onca, Gev and Taman) we headed for the ship to find it is HUGE, like with double rows of canons on each side.
So we walk up the ladder and H’arald Fornax jinxes most of the crew on deck and we walk in the aft deck of the ship, close the door and face 2 shipmates. One of them is intimidated to join our cause, but the other one hesitates. H’arald Fornax does no such thing and blasts him to Eldritch (where ever that may be), but through the room in many pieces. Next stop captain’s hut. But first we get to face the 1st boatsman Naz, an evil looking Half-orc and trustee of captain D’oan.
