Session #10

A new party is hired by Leosin Erlanthar to go investigate the disappearance of the last party he sent in to the Dragon Hatchery. They retrace the steps of the previous party to the cavern with the dragon eggs, where they fight the roper, the kobolds and the drakes. After a seemingly hopeless fight with the roper, it started talking to Brennian, asking if he had anything to exchange for the limp body of Opal he was trying to eat, since Brennian made it obvious he didn’t want the rope to eat her by repeatedly attacking it. Brennian informed the roper that the party had slain a bunch of creatures on the way to the cavern and that it could go and eat those. The roper agreed to this exchange and went back up the tunnel. The party was unfortunately not fast enough to save Opal, who died from her wounds soon after being released. The party broke all the eggs in the cave and rested for the night.
