Session #4

We started on the mission to capture an officer in the square. Soon after coming out of the keep, we encountered a small group of cultists and managed to capture an acolyte that we bought back to the keep.

We went back out towards the square, stealthing our way closer and assessing the situation. After a quick reconnaissance mission by an invisible Taranthiel, who realized the target was probably inside one of the houses, we changed the plan to sneak into one of the guarded houses from behind.

Behind the first house, Taranthiel cast a sleep spell on the two guards near the door, which we then tied with some rope. We then burst through the door and tried to storm the inside. After a disappointing first round of combat, one of the guards went outside to get reinforcements from the horde of guards posted in the street. We knocked the target unconscious pretty fast and Thalindra grabbed her. We then tried to flee back to the keep, but the target ended up dying from her wounds on the way. We were being chased by a large quantity of guards and cultists, but Taranthiel cast more sleep spells on the masses, helping us get away and reducing the amount of opponents chasing us.

We ended up killing the small group still conscious and made our way back to the keep where we rested for the remainder of the night.
