Day 21

• Travel Hazard
• A dust elemental appears, I 1 shot it! (Chaos bolt)
• We pass by a ship, we approach!
○ Bekerel Circle- Circle of spore druids, who travel the expanse, seeking to nit the expanse closer by spreading spores.
○ Sister Amonita Vaginata greets us “My mission is to nit the worlds of the expanse together by spreading mushrooms that can grow on any of them”
○ We get some mushrooms, if we get someone to eat/drink it it casts friends on them
• We arrive at Metsia!
○ There are space whales!
○ We are greeted by a crowd of 12-15 onlookers, plus two teens from the tavern keeper.
○ A priest has been asking about us
○ We throw a concert for the crowed to avoid causing a riot, since we come in a ship that is

• Bramble, Jacques and I go and perform, Jacques almost sets the Farsamt Guild Alchemists on fire. A conversation gets started

• Yliosha- Plants a mushroom on Elias
• Rikavon plays craps, then gets high on Sheffacane
• I cast Invisibility on myself and follow Ember and Fulger back to their ship
• “The one from the pale Citadel, perhaps there’s a connection? We need to talk with Moat (the one who was in the dining lounge, mixing potions. Senior alchemist.) at once”
○ I astral step into the ship to listen in. “They know about the society, they know about the witch of the wanderer, not sure if they saw anything else in the lab but they know about the experiments.”
○ Moat says: “And you came immediately hear from that conversation? Did they seem inclined to cooperate or unite with the witch of the wanderer? Perhaps the one from the Pale Citadel”
§ They think we’re tying to unite with her.
§ “We should attempt to involve them further.”
§ They know about our “commitments”, and are to approach afterwards. Discuss “Lets get a sense of how they would get along with Transit Society.”
• Rikavon comes and finds Jacques and Bramble, brings them back to Jimmy’s tent
○ They try some potions and will get Sheffacane
§ Bramble gets a luck point (1 hr) +25 silver and Sheffacane
§ Jacques also gets a luck point, +25 silver and Sheffacane
§ Rikavon gets polymorphed into an octopus
§ Ylosia shows up, gets +25 silver, sheffacane, (x2), and a level of exhaustion
§ Rikavon transforms into a beholder
○ I attack Rikavon causing them to transform back
• We meet with Gemenate Sylvester from the New School.
○ We retell the story of Episode 1, and how we got our ship
○ There’s a senior cleric Kel Brightmoon who was meant to be on a mission to a minor planet to heal the populace
§ They stole a ship (Ylosia and I figure out that it was Rikavon’s ship
§ He’s here for the new school’s damselfly ship, is going to heal the plague
§ Could Elias have been working with Kel Brightmoon?
○ He starts to cast Detect Magic
§ Ember starts walking over
○ He detects the void magic from the circlet that I’m wearing.
○ We roll initiative- (ship is 200 feet away)
§ Brambs picks me up and runs 90 feet towards the ship.
§ Kel Brightmoon may have been involved with some kind of void magic, and may have been corrupted by such thing
§ Ember tries to deceive the Geminate, she fails. He prepares to attack her saying she’s been corrupted by the void “Maybe she’s on the side of our friend” (From Rikavon)
Rikavon takes the potion from Ember. “It’s light”
○ The mob is about 10 feet away
○ Gemenate Sylvester and Ember are talking, Sylvester says that he wants to talk to Mote
• Rikavon opens the potion and reads the message: “People are noticing the Void magic on one of your party. You may be in danger and you need to leave Metsya soon. Get to Tsedamt in three days and head to the Tavern of the Red Rose. Ask for Woodcarver”
○ I cast Prestidigitation, Rikavon uses the Mask of Many Faces, I shout Encore
○ We get the mob to look for Bramble
○ Ylasia and Jacques go with the Gemnate to look for Mote
○ Malka and the merchants come up on us.
§ Rikavon “Time flies when you’re an intergalactic superstar.”
§ Metsia depends on trade fairs,
○ The Gemenate asks us to go to the New School Chapter House on Kayder
§ Will help us address the curse.
○ We get escorted out, but go out with a bang! (And make 20 SP)
• Rikavon shares the note!

• Tsedamt and Kayder are both 3 days away

• We wait for the ship
○ A ship with crimson sails and an elemental flame drive. It looks a lot like the ship that ran from Tefisa.
○ A man teleports on, It’s Kel Brightmoon
§ “We’ve spoken to some misguided members of the clergy”
§ Martus has sent a daughter to weave together the two empires, and the Sheffa Expanse will no longer be necessary
§ Kel says that many priests of the New School and the Reformed School are focused on the bureaucracy.

We need to bring a letter to the Suncular Imperium on Devoratz, Rikavon takes the letter

○ Bramble- Stearing at an eye of Martis emblazed on a half mile high hill. Martus wants us to go on this mission. The cliff is familiar to Bramble
○ Yliosia- Isabel and Imir, seeking something in the catacombs. Yilosia isn’t sure what to do here. She gets a momentary glimpse of her great battle. Fighting an unfamiliar foe that bleeds “radiant, divine ichor.” Great hunt involves slaying a celestial being .
○ Rikavon- Sent a dream of twins approaching the terminator between light and dark, led by a white opossum, an albatross attempts to attack the opossum
○ Jacques- (Religion check)- a cleric casts a light spell as they being a service in front of congregants. Trying to communicate that celestials are working tougher who don’t typically do so against a larger foe
○ Kito- Standing in a dark, cold place, far away from the light of the twin suns, light by an indigo glow, cTrd. There are others around, but I can’t see them. Trying to place the amber into a ritual alter overlooking a great chasm. As I place the amer there I hear a vast engine come to life. Across the chasm I see two eyes. The amber- it has an eye-like aspect to it.

Devorats sees themselves in opposition to the new school and reformed school when it comes to chalcedon.
