Research at the Living Library and Catching Up With an Ex

The party, with their student tour guides Reginald and Winona, arrived at The Living Library and were met with vast amounts of written knowledge shifting and organizing itself. Books were being passed along floorboards and deposited on shelves as a booming voice rang out around the group welcoming them. Taking the opportunity of being provided a wealth of knowledge, the group splintered off and delved into the many rooms of the library searching for information about personal quests and questions from encounters they’ve had.

When Jukli asked the library about where to find information on his homeland, he was directed to a room which was surprisingly already occupied by two lizardfolk already. As he approached, he recognized the older of the two as his rune teacher from when he was young, Rhit. Rhit was dressed in the attire of a teacher of the school and next to him sat his son, Kizh, who was petting a brown rabbit. Jukli chatted with Rhit for a while and learned that he had traveled to Reinmont to pursue more runic knowledge from the frost giants and took up a teaching position, bringing along Kizh. Jukli asked Rhit about the history of The Verdant and The Proudwings fighting and Rhit explained The Conflict between The Verdant and The Proudwings.

After thoroughly boring Ralathen within the walls of dry information; he, followed by the rest of the party, decided to go spare another visit to the Steelspark Forge to confront and pry into Aconite Iirenfel‘s current events. Upon arrival Ralathen required a little adrenaline boost and asked Rano… Jukli to slap him. Jukli happily obliged not understanding the context. Infused with slap-induced vigor, Ralathen confidently approached Lonebear and asked for Aconite. Lonebear directed Ralathen over to the living quarters and upon knocking could hear two sets of footsteps within the room before Aconite peeked out of the doorway. Ralathen then proceeded to ask him about the weapons he’s been making and Aconite guided him over to his workstation. On their way over, Ralathen messaged Jukli to go snoop in Aconite‘s room. Jukli then wandered away, went invisible and snuck into the room to look around. The ajar door to another room caught Jukli‘s interest and when he peeked inside the other room he saw a hiding Violet Roseburn. Meanwhile, Ralathen and Aconite were discussing some minor imperfections in the weapons leading to a very homoerotic threatening by Ralathen that the next weapons be perfect. Satisfied with the interaction, Ralathen and the rest of the party grouped up and headed to The Stormy Dog for some drinks and a good rest.
