Jackie Harlot
Charming Smuggler
Theme: Dear Fellow Traveller
As long as Jackie can remember he was a criminal, whether a pickpocketing street urchin, a swindling circus worker, or a proper smuggler. Jackie would live his early years as any other human kid, before discovering his changeling nature as a teenager. At the same time, he would be contacted by a fellow changeling, hoping to induct Jackie into the full knowledge of his people. For a time, the two would travel together, even joining a travelling circus, before Jackie decided to leave, heading to the City of Eritire where he could make a new start.
Upon arriving in Eritire, and never one to give up an advantage, the homely Jack become the swashbuckling Jackie Harlot among a variety of other personalities. Beautiful men and women alike became Jackie’s new visages as he worked his way around the criminal world, a fluidity of shape bringing a fluidity of mind, preferences, and, ultimately, actions. In his criminal endeavours, Jackie was reasonably successful as he built a small criminal racket.
However, in spite of all his “virtues,” Jackie was not so much an intelligent man. In between jobs, Jackie took on an opportunity presented by the Barabombtail Guild. Taking up the opportunity, he travelled far north outside of his usual stomping grounds. Using what contacts he had so far north, Jackie and the others hatched a plan to infiltrate their target, a Casino. During the course of their infiltration, Jackie would take the form of one of the other patrons in order to access a VIP area. However, this would prove a double-edged sword as Jackie was beaten senseless by animated furniture before being discovered by the guards alongside Sunshine at Night. Luckily for him, the person he impersonated had a twin sister, assuming Jackie to be that same sister. Jackie would later awake, purposing to rescue his accomplice, Sunshine at Night, who had also been captured, before escaping for good.
