Andor
Andor is a nation largely inhabited by non-human races, and it is the primary home of the Elves and those Dwarves who have left their underground kingdoms in the Spine of the World. Andor was slowly developed into a haven for non-humans over thousands of years.
Dwarves, Elves, and Gnomes grew tired of being cast out of human societies for their differences during the Dark Ages, and they began gathering in the West against the Spine of the World. Over the years, they eventually came to claim the land of Andor via military conquest as well as extensive trade deals, and they have maintained its sovereignty for thousands of years.
Due to the extensive Dwarven mines in the Spine of the World, Andor’s primary exports are precious and base metals. Andor’s primary rival is Arafel, which occasionally attempts to claim its northern territories. However, Andor is rarely the target of foreign aggression due to its control over the Baelor Dam. This dam was built nearly 300 years ago by Gnomish engineers, and it has the capability of damming the entirety of the Baelor River close to its source, which would severely harm the economies of Murandy, Cairhien, Tear, and Nasaad.
