Manetheran
Often referred to as the Frozen Crown of Edar, Manetheran is an extremely harsh, near-uninhabitable land that regularly plunges below freezing temperatures. Nights are extremely long, and the region receives very little daylight, particularly in the harsh winter months.
Manetheran is home to only the most hardened of frontiersmen, pioneers, and barbarian warriors. Beyond the sporadic dots of civilization lies extreme danger, as there are innumerable wild beasts willing to eat any scrap of flesh they come across. One of the most terrifying creatures found throughout Manetheran are the Frost Giants that inhabit the frozen northern glaciers of this region. These beasts have been responsible for some of the most devastating events in the history of the North, as they are capable of destroying entire cities within a single day.
Although Manetheran appears to have coastal access to the Encircling Sea on a map, it actually sits atop an enormous steppe, causing there to be a nearly 1,000-foot drop from the land of Manetheran down cliffs to the waters below.
