We continue into the cave, slowly making our way further on. We stumble across a pile of loot, after passing some more webbing strewn across the path.

Wonders and Ali go ahead and try to stealth into another section of the cave, but stumble across a wall that suddenly has a singular eye that opens in it. We all hear a voice in our heads that speaks to us, (Basically that we fucked up), and then we are set upon by more cultists. They all take shots at us, not hurting us very much, and one actually falls off a ledge and falls prone.
We immediately respond to attack back.

The fight is sudden, but not too bad. Wonders gets pretty badly hurt, but nobody else gets too badly injured. During the fight one of the Cultists called out “Protect the Godspawn” which we are pretty sure referred to a Nothic that was with them. To the Northwest, we see a passageway out into the evening moonlight. The cave opens up into a ravine or crater.

The ravine/crater is large, but we can see the sides and in the distance, we see fire light. In the center of the crater area, we see the dilapidated ruin of a temple. It appears to be absolutely fucking rancid with Ruidium and creatures who appear attracted to it. Ali and Wonders sneak forward to scout, and Ali fucks it up and gets us caught.

We fight off some little butthole dogs with teeth. unexpectedly, the Necklace gives us another vision; in which we see someone Calling for Xalicas while fighting alongside a winged hero they refer to as Perigee. When the vision ends, we see two more creatures crawling out of the ground. They are horrible and terrifying and Eveneem tries to use one of the sand of drying/grain of dryness and throws it at them - she fails miserably and almost kills the entire party.

Thankfully, through a set of miracles, the entire party makes it out and at the last second the horrifying creatures fade away. The party is free to explore, and go up to see the rest of the area, which includes the dark temple.

Inside the temple are two kinds of crystals, the dark red of Ruidium, and a lighter blue crystal which reminds us of the other moon.
