The team goes to the Oracle Trading Co. warehouse, which is where we believe the thieves are. The shopkeeper hinted that it would help her a lot if we made the problem of the myriad ‘go away’ (i.e. murder everyone).

A large figure opens the warehouse door after we knock on it, and asks if he can help us. The man slams the door shut after Wonders asks about ‘goggles of the night’. A woman comes back after a few minutes and says that the man ‘Irk’ told her about us. She repeats what he said, that this isn’t a store. The woman asks if we think they have stolen goods, and Wonders calls her out saying ‘Who said stolen?’. The woman does not believe him and takes offense to what Wonders is insinuating.

“Why did the man fall down the well?” Mick says, trying to diffuse the tension. “Why?” Eveneem says curiously.

“Because that man could not see that well!” Mick says, and head butts the woman out of the door frame.

The hit lands well enough to knock her out of the wall, revealing two other men just behind the door.

We enter combat, and Wonders and Eveneem run in immediately. The woman that Mick head butted calls for someone else in the warehouse, saying they have ‘visitors’.

After combat ends, we interrogate the Tabaxi Thief, Cadence, and confirm that she is with the Myriad. We also get the location of the Ruidium ring and Ali’s goggles. During the conversation, we confirm that she did not know that the shopkeep was in hiding.

Ali goes to look for her goggles and Wonders heads upstairs for the ring. We find the ring and a handful of other items, and then make our way back to the Jacinda’s store. We convinced Jacinda to give us the ring in exchange for some papers that we found in the warehouse, which we believe was intel on an organization called ‘The Veil’.

We also pooled our resources and bought a bag of holding for half the cost it normally would be. Eveneem proceeds to pull 150 gold out of the bag, much to Jacinda chagrin. We also find earrings of whisper for the whole team + 1. Ali’s glasses work as expected, and are (begrudgingly) cool looking.

THe team returned to the inn and found that QUestion had already gone to the Professor’s so we followed her there.

Once we arrived we went inside and found - dun DUN DUUUUN - a body.
