Davlin comes to talk to Ali in the morning and shows her all of the different knots that he can make. Ali regales him with tales of her travels, mostly around the ships she has taken and the lands she’s seen. Davlin seems like he really wants to leave his hometown and make his way out in the world - mostly as the ‘knot guy’.

Poor Angie, the gnomish girl who has a crush on Davlin, seems slightly embarrassed to have been caught listening to Ali and Davlin’s conversation. Wonders, Eveneem, Ali and Mick follow Angie to the church. Pam, the wife of the Reverend, is a little catty about the dwarves not showing up for all three of the services that her husband does every day. Wonders and Eveneem talk to Pam a little about dwarves, and it becomes obvious that Pam thinks that the botanists spread heresy. Eveneem leaves and waits for the others, while Ali talks to Angie about her Father, the Reverend.

The team agrees to go out between afternoon and evening services with the Father to see the Moon Tree. In the meantime, the adventurers go over to the dwarves home to speak with them.

After talking to the Mother and Father, they suggest that the adventurers go out back to speak to their son, who is busy cleaning science implements. After speaking with him, we decide to go to the treehouse, which turned out to be a long-abandoned witch’s coven.

After exploring the inside of the dusty treehouse, we decide to leave - only to encounter a horde of plant monsters.
