Hyrule Capitol
Capitol City of New Hyrule, Formerly known as North Castle Town. Centre of nation’s culture. It is considered among top 3 biggest cities in the world, second only to Gerudo Oasis, that has expanded over the years, and Clocktown, industrial marvel that has also exponentially expanded. Council of Sages and some nobles stay in what is considered a Royal Castle in the city, although it was originally secondary safe castle built into city as location to move Royal family into in case of crisis or war.
Needless to say, Calamity’s sudden strike and wiping out the main Royal castle, along with entire Hyrule Kingdom City, the Family did not have chance to move into North Castle town.
The Town was later turned into safety zone and safe haven, and once people managed to bring normalsy back into their lifes, the old North Castle was turned into Hyrule Capitol, and remaining noble houses and Sages moved into the city to form new Hyrulean Realm and its governing body.
The Royal Castle stands in the middle of city and is surrounded by 8 disctricts, each meant for different purpose or people to settle in. Castle itself is considered 9th district
- Is the Barracks street, place were the guards and military reside and move out
- is the Merchants district, the most likely 1st entry point to the city
- is the Workers disctrict, the place where city’s builders and artisans hone their crafts
- is The Noble Disctrict, home where most nobles, both of old and new hyrule, reside. It is usually the most isolated district, due to nobility demanding higher distirctions to the lower classes
- is the Upper District, most of city’s healthcare workers and clinics reside here, having access to 3 most heavily lived discricts, including itself. a Church of Gods, a common temple for all kinds of deities is also present of this district
- is the Lower Disctrict, place of majority of common people and regular households.
- is Middle Discrict, place of research and studies, home to many scholars and schools.
- is the slums, also known as the criminal district. In place of prison, those with criminal sentences are set to live here, under heavy surveilance and tasked with either waiting out their sentence or lowering it with menial labour.
North from the Capitol on Lake Hylia, stands the Temple of Time, sacred temple of Goddessess and Hylia faith
