A Realm governed by the Council of Sages, the few who follow examples of the Ancient Sages and the Former Hyrulean royal family. New Hyrule is essentially, what is left of just the northern part of Old Kingdom of Hyrule, where as the rest of the old kingdom have been wiped out completely.
Considering what remained of the old Realm, the New Hyrule Realm has suffered among the least after the great calamity, if you consider how most of its lush green fields and fertile lands remained intact.

The New Hyrulean Realm and it’s governing body, have had rough decades trying to be peacekeepers of the world, which have gotten them scorn from doubtful populace and other leaders. Some have questioned their methods, some have compared them to former royal family and their mishaps. Nation leaders have criticized Council’s actions, accusing them for meddling when they’re not needed. While Council has members representing other nations, tensions remain high and infighting is common occurrence within The Council. Some members fear possible mutiny, some, have even worse fears of great evil already having their clutches amongst them.

The Council still has the most open politics among nations, and has representatives around the new world, but their sway over other’s and even their own citizen has dwindled
