Applethorn found these three orbs two of them pulse one glowing once I opened it. Lost a little life force when I was drawn to it. Grab some scrolls about the orbs. Stone can read the scrolls. The scrolls say they can create moral life from machines… the orbs are for the lungs apparently these scrolls are the notes on direction to the recipient.

Having secured a plan and information from Rowan, you boarded a ship, The Ellinor, and settled in for a three day journey to Nicodranas. Rowan sent you to look into Lady Urdorna, a rumored goddess of the forest who has been said to grant the desires of those who serve her. Applethorn is inclined to doubt the reality of her servant of Melora, as true servants of the nature goddess serve the forest first. This Lady Urdorna’s apparent flaunting of her powers to gain followers does not appear to be aligned with Melora’s beliefs, especially if people across the bay know of her.

The journey on The Ellinor was under the idea of protecting some of the Myriad cargo that Rowan was shipping to Nicodranas, though the Captain asked that no one go in and out of the cargo area during the journey, which means you all got very acquainted with the old, half-blind gnome guard. While exploring the cargo area, Applethorn felt a strange call to a group of boxes with a generic symbol of a circle in front of a flame. Inside the box was a set of three metal orbs without any sign of crafting or tampering. Each of them made a strange sound; one was a constant whooshing, like wind,; another, a pulsing heartbeat, and the third made no noise, but attempted to pull something from Applethorn before he pulled away. Surrounding this boxes were several more filled with parchment and journals that Applethorn snatched for further study.

That night, Della watched the store room and saw that another passenger entered the cargo hold: the other water genasi adventurer passenger named Ayo. She slipped in and out without apparently taking anything. Soon after, the crew raced upstairs near Della and close to where the rest of the party was sleeping, waking Scrum and Katerina as the crew ran past. Gathering on the deck, the crew pointed out a site where ghostly figures drifted above the water and told the story of these spirits more regular appearances the past few months, with rumors of a pirate captain who takes the body of their victims to serve as their cursed crew, bound to the pirate captain’s service until they determine their usefulness ended. Some bought into it, others didn’t.
