AKA the Bone Ring of Jarnegus Argenteus, legend has it that the bone itself came from the femur of Jarnegus himself although the author had never seen the item. How the ring entered the treasury of the archons of Arden Vul is disputed, but it was certainly part of the archonal regalia by the death of the archon, Julian Grex (died AEP 1006). It remained a chief treasure of the archons until the fall of Arden Vul. Said to grant the wearer protection and in some stories even regeneration, the account is unclear for a few seemingly original sources seem to state that the bone ring when its “fingers” were manipulated could even produce other spell-like effects, although how a bone ring could have fingers is unclear and doubted by the pamphlet’s author.
