The Dividing Plains

Tal’Dorei’s vast heartland, framed by the Stormcrest Mountains in the southwest, the Cliffkeeps in the north, and the Summit Peaks in the south, contains miles and miles of rolling hills, tallgrass prairies, sky-blue rivers, and fertile farmlands. Within these plains, the hardworking people of the realm tend to their fields and businesses while adventurers and village militias battle back the wild beasts and wandering bandits of the region. The safest way to avoid being beset by monsters is to travel the Silvercut Roadway, which slices through the endless plains, connects the coasts, and shepherds caravans between them. Of course, the roads are coursing with highwaymen and bandits, so which route is safer is entirely up to the traveler to decide.
