Henchman’s Cloak is a small and shabby shop on the Western side of town. Stone walls under a sagging cedar roof with a dingy front windows make this an easy shop to pass by on your first visit to Farinnel, but it’s clientele know that there is often treasure in this unassuming building.

Inside are numerous shelves filled with potions, magical objects of lower quality, and a surly shopkeeper, all surrounding an ancient stone pedestal, carved from a white marble with a cracked base that’s propped up by a few old books so it stands up straight. The surface of it, about waist height, shimmers with arcane runes and sparks with long ago enchantments. This is a summoning stone, secured from it’s original (and undisclosed) location by the shop’s patron long ago. Though it’s power wanes, it can still be used.

The shop is run by Argus, who has never given his surname out, a retired adventurer who likes the quiet life.
