Notably marking the settlement’s southwestern landscape is 8 on Tap, the settlement’s primary brewery with it’s four brewing vats surrounding the sides of the building. The scent and heat of fermenting beer make it an offputting hangout spot for most tourists and citizens, but those who enjoy a quieter atmosphere and don’t mind sticky floors frequent the tap room here. They’ll be greeted by a quiet security guard and surly bartender who manage the tap room and brewery, or secondary bartender or delivery person on their rounds between the town’s taverns. While all the staff are quick to deal with any conflict that might arise, taking lodging in the rooms above, they’re quiet and reserved, allowing patrons to forget they’re there most of the time, making 8 on Tap an ideal spot for illicit and discrete conversations.

8 on Tap is owned by Rulf Cromwell, a forty something orc merchant. He lives in both Farinnel and Kymal, disappearing to Kymal for weeks at a time and leaving his staff in charge.
