Session 1

Its been a week and a half since the incident next to the shop Top Tinctures and Tonics. In the Heavy Steed Pub tavern, the halfling Hamwise entered and was welcomed by the spectacular sight of the taverns interior. Warm light and atmosphere, food and drink, a bardic troupe, all was well. Hamwise did notice however two particular individuals, the shady older yuan-ti Us and his companion harengon Sckips, and decided to approach and dine with them. Eventually, the human Tayln noticed the group and also joined in the merriment.
After some time, the bardic troupe began to play one particular song, where Us and Sckips noticed a few hooded individuals enter the tavern. After keeping an eye on them, Sckips went to notify Reynma Hozzugon the owner of the tavern, only to find it difficult to get her attention. Eventually she broke out of the daze she appeared to be in and noticed the figures as well. Once the song ended, the figures left, leaving Us and Sckips confused. Hamwise and Tayln appeared not to notice anything and commented on the musical performance.
Tayln and Hamwise decided to quickly follow the shady figures out into the street to discover where they were going. It didn’t take long to catch up and, although they were almost caught, they got some information - they had been stolen from, and the thieves knew they were being followed.
Returning to the tavern, the strange group decided to speak to the bardic troupe, believing they may have had something to do with it. Once the troupe had a break, Sckips decided to get on stage and entertain the crowd while the other 3 went to speak to the two singers. After some tense discussion, the singers claimed they had nothing to do with the theft but mentioned they have not been invited back to a few venues and stated there may be a connection. The group took it upon themselves to leave the tavern and begin their investigations on where the thieves may have gone to. Checking the street as a group, they struggled to find many clues and decided to search the next morning with fresh eyes.
