Session 4

The party began their walk over to the Heavy Steed Pub, ready to meet with Anthol Spyley and discuss whatever information he so desperately wanted to discuss with them. They discussed what could be in store for them and what transpired with Jane.
Upon arriving at the tavern, they saw Anthol pacing in-front of the building, appearing to be waiting for them. When he saw the group arriving, he beckoned for them to follow. He took them to a new building for some, familiar for others; The Divine Park, a popular Alchemist shop. Anthol knocked and a little fairy head appeared as the door opened. She beckoned everyone inside, whispered to Anthol who nodded, and then introduced herself as Penelope Rock, the owner of the shop. She offered some food and tea and, after preparing them, returned and asked the party for help with a little quest: 2. Head to Kythyss to investigate some weird events.
Both Anthol and Penelope asked the group if they could head to Kythyss as there have been some strange occurrences happening in and around the area. Penelope mentioned she is close with The Golden Griffins Guild Leader and that there have been several other problems occurring recently, so Penelope and Anthol have taken it upon themselves to help lessen the load and ask competent individuals to help with the reward of money and anything else they desire - within reason of course. Anthol also mentioned that the incident with Vallal and the information surrounding Omaric is being looked into further by the Guild Leader and that their support there with Jane already has helped her significantly. Penelope offered the group a horse and carriage for their journey, mentioning the trip south would take a little less than a week, and all she asks of the group is to do some recognisance of the place and figure out what is going on so the Golden Griffins can send adventurers down and sort it out themselves. She did mention however that she would gladly reward them if they dealt with the problem if they did discover it, also mentioning that it could lead to some discussions and possible jobs from the Golden Griffins themselves.
With that, the group separated for the day and reconvened the following day, heading down south with Sckips leading the group and Hamwise creating healing potions with ingredients bought from Penelope. A few days down the road, Sckips noticed some horses riding behind them. Taking notice, she notified the group just as one of the appeared to use magic to uproot a tree and launch it at the group. It missed by a hundred or so feet, however the group decided that was enough of a reason to pull over and attack them when they got close. So with that, the pulled over, with Tayln and Us stepping out of the cart, Hamwise hiding in the cart, and Sckips sitting at the front with a spear, and waited for the attackers to get in range of their spells and weapons.
