Session 20
After waking the next morning, the party saw Trisys Blackfist leave on her next quest, leaving the party to decide what to do that day. Upon discussion, the group left to head back to the teleporter they arrived on. They retraced their steps and, upon returning to roughly the same location, found a blank stone wall. Quickly however the group discovered it to be an illusion, with the wooden door being covered by a mirage of the stone. The party quickly entered, closed the door behind them, and realised their next issue; how to use the teleportation circle. They needed an incantation to activate it, which none of them had. After using the sending stone and contacting Svetlana Trigg, she informed the party to step onto the platform and she would activate the portal on her end.
After stepping onto the platform and arriving back to Caer Callidyrr, Svetlana invited the group into her office and, although appearing blunt with her words, she congratulated the group on delivering the package to her father Sterly Trigg, and also thanked the party for helping Trisys in her request, although the party noticed she appeared to not be the fondest of her. After this, she informed the party that the Autumn Equinox was happening the following day and that she had tickets for the group as all guild members got them and she would like it if the group was there. She also suggested partaking in the events themselves and enjoying some downtime as they earned it. She also gave them a small chest of goodies for their completed mission.
With that, the party left and decided to meet Kreilor’s sister Tanari in the Historical Histories. The party arrived and was blown away by the entrance - The Hall of Heroes, where many heroic statues and plaques stood and read about the heroes of the past. It also appeared that the most recent heroes were stationed near the back of this room, closest to the rest of the museum, with two statues in particular catching the parties eyes; the first reading “The Heroes of Neverwinter”, depicting 5 figures: a gnome with a cap and gloves with flaming runes on them standing next to a halfling with a skull hat and boned clothes wielding a scythe. Behind them, an elf with flowing gold hair, a stern look, wielding lightning from her hands, a strange humanoid with half their body appearing almost metallic and the other half complete human, wielding a staff in his metallic state and a sword in his human form, and a large half-orc with an eyepatch towering over the whole group with a large flaming sword above his head. The other statue read “The Heroes Who First Stood Against Galdeth”, this one having 5 other individuals; a crouched half-orc with pink hear and slight horns, wielding a raised boomerang in one hand and a hand crossbow in the other, with a blue tiefling wizard standing behind her with lightning appearing to radiate from his body as his black hair stands on end and lightning crackles from his staff. A half-elven man stands beside the half-orc, wielding strange magic from his hands and having a strange headpiece with five dragon heads standing up on each side. Behind him is a man in black armour, a spear in one hand and a shield in the other, his face looking intense and a black fist etched into his chest armour, and a strange humanoid in the centre of them all wielding a huge flaming great sword in one hand and an elegant spear in the other, with wispy hair and an eyepatch as well. The group saw this and continued to see Tinari, to which they saw her saying farewell to a smaller individual with a small cap, who waved to the party as he appeared to enter the tree and teleport with Tanari’s magic.
She welcomed the group, asking what they were here for, and invited the party to look around and also help if they so desired. Quite quickly the group helped set up the museum for the following day, and everyone but Kreilor left to pursue their own business that evening in preparation for the following day, with the group agreeing to reconvene at either Top Tinctures and Tonics or Crystal Clear Creations.
