Session 2

The unexpected ragtag group of individuals woke up the next morning and took it upon themselves to search for more clues regarding their missing belongings. After much discussion, the group decided to head to the The Romantic Pearl to check the location out for any entrances, exits, hidden passages, how busy it would be at night, and other important information as, after talking to the Bardic Troupe in the The Heavy Steed Pub, this location was the next to possibly be hit by the thief.
After some recognisance, Us and Sckips went to leave to return to their rooms, agreeing to meet with Hamwise and Tayln in the morning for further investigations and discussions. As they left, Hamwise and Talyn followed and id them farewell, only to see a shadow in a nearby alleyway. The two took it upon themselves to investigate, with Us noticing their sudden departure instead of returning to the Romantic Pearl. Hamwise and Talyn went down the alley and followed the figure into an open section between several buildings. They tracked the footprints in the dirt and noticed they ended when they arrived at a wall of one of the buildings. Us and Sckips also followed but stuck to the shadows to avoid being seen by anyone. They saw Hamwise and Tayln begin to cover themselves as they believed the figure had headed inside the building, only for Sckips to notice rose petals begin to fall from the sky. As she looked up, she saw a figure darting on the rooftops and suddenly shoot some arrows at Hamwise and Tayln.
Quite quickly, the figure identified herself as the one who stole from the group the day prior, taunting them from up high. The group however made quick work of her, forcing her to surrender. After some questioning, the thief agreed to give their items back, but stated they weren’t on her and she would recover the items for the group. She appeared to be quite cooperative, which some of the group immediately distrusted, yet they all followed her into the street, heading back into the city.

Session 3 (LEVELED UP TO 3)

The thief led the group through some back streets towards a warehouse district, claiming to be near her warehouse and the groups stolen items. Upon nearing a corner of the space, she asked the group to wait behind while she retrieved their goods. She gave her weapons and items to the group as a way of showing a level of mutual trust, agreeing to exchange their returned stolen goods for her items. She then left, heading off to get the items for the group.
About an hour passed and she hadn’t returned. The group were convinced that she had left her items and taken off and escaped. Hamwise and Tayln decided to follow the thief’s tracks and head towards the warehouse in the hopes of finding where she went and if they can retrieve their items themselves. Upon turning the corner, with Us and Sckips close behind, they see the thief bound by rope in front of a large warehouse, being beaten bloody by a blonde muscular man with a great-sword on his back and other individuals looking on. The group began discussing what they should do about this predicament, only for Tayln to make eye-contact with the thief. She smiled, spat blood onto the ground, and said louder than before “You know what? Fuck you Vallal. Fuck you and what Omaric has done to this place”. The man smiled, and drew the great-sword with one hand, preparing to sever the thief’s head from her shoulders. Just as this happened, the group acted, leaping from the. corner and firing spells, bolts, and other projectiles at the group of enemies infont of them. Us managed to subdue the boss and a lackey, with the rest of the group causing chaos and confusion with their large skillset. The thief managed to begin freeing herself and quite quickly, felled some of the bandits and their leader.
The thief then began to order some of the remaining onlookers to sort out the minimal corpses strewn about and brought the unconscious boss, who was identified as Vallal, into the warehouse. She offered the rest of the group to follow inside as well.
Upon entering, the group retrieved their stolen goods, and the thief, who now identified herself as Jane began to discuss with the group some information regarding who Vallal was following, who Omaric is, and what their little operation has become since Omaric took charge. She also identified Us in particular and asked about some trade that she had done with him in the past through different aliases and how, since Omaric took over, there have been some strange items asked and received from Us’ organisation. With all this discussion, Anthol Spyley suddenly poked his head into the warehouse, acknowledging Jane as possible an acquaintance, and asked the group to meet him at the Heavy Steed Pub once they were done with Jane as he had some important matters to discuss with them.
From here, the party wrapped things up with Jane and began to head over to the Heavy Steed Pub to meet up with Anthol and discuss whatever urgent business he had for them.
