Upon arriving back in Svetlana Trigg‘s office, noticed that Axi appeared to have disappeared briefly then reappeared shortly after their own appearance. Deciding to question him later, the party relayed what happened to Svetlana; the cyclopes in Blackstone, the demon form that appeared in the mountain pass, Wilber, The Cairn of Cymrych Hugh, the teleportation to Greystaad, the avalanche, and the attack and “success” over Omaric. After reciting this tale, Svetlana began to write it down and take notes and ordered the party to prepare themselves for a meeting with the Queen as this information appeared to be part of a bigger picture that they are only now becoming aware of. With this, the group headed back to Hamwise’s residence which appeared to have been completely fixed in his absence. Axi then brought to the parties attention that his patron appeared to be the one who helped in saving his life when Oramic attacked him and that she still has use for him for her future plans. His patron also mentioned that she will be calling on him shortly and to be prepared for whatever the task is.

The following day, Us and Hamwise returned to The Golden Griffins as Us had arranged for some of his co-workers to appear and discuss possible trade and ownership of a dock to make business official. Upon arriving, they were met by several figures; a half-drow male named Negari, The half-drow Twins Finn and Lett, and the changeling Amon. Upon having a small meeting with Svetlana to liaise and come up with an agreement to take to the The Golden Road Company, Hamwise saw the inner workings of how other trade deals are made and took notes. After the meeting, it was for the most part concluded that Us would have access to a dock where a ship or two may be docked to conduct business. Whether to conduct it out of the ship or to also have a store/warehouse, that would be discussed at a later date.

While that happened, Kreilor and Sckips went out on a shopping trip to buy food, items, and clothing specifically for the meeting with the queen. Upon everyone returning to Top Tinctures and Tonics, the party all prepared to get ready. Sckips wore a flowing blue dress with shoulders exposed, with golden embroideries accenting some of her features. Kreilor wore a clean white suit, Axi a clean black one with accenting raven feathers on his shoulders. Lucious also got a tophat. Hamwise and Us both wore red and black suits with either golden embroideries or chains. All in all, the Kahoots appeared to look the part. With that, the group headed off towards the palace.

Session 35

Upon entering, the party was taken around some twists and turns, probably to confuse them as to how to escape if they caused problems, and wound up eventually at the from doors of the meeting chambers, with Svetlana waiting for them. She appeared to be wearing a black slim suit that appeared to be made out of a flexible material. With that, and with some words of wisdom from Svetlana stating to speak only when spoken to and to be respectful of others in here, they entered.

The meeting went quickly and without many issues. The party was met with some representatives of other factions such as The Golden Road Company and The Circle of the Gilded as well as some other nobles, and Queen Alicia Kendrick herself yet again. The party saw a map of the Moonshae Isles as well as Mintarn to the east and the edge of the mainland of The Sword Coast. The map showed one similar to what the party saw Omaric have but with additional landmarks and armies. In short, the party discovered that if it wasnt for them, Caer Callidyrr probably would have been attacked with minimal preparation time and the Moonshae Isles would have fallen thanks to them being unaware. With some mental discussions between Alicia and Hamwise, the party discovered that she has a new mission for them: Head to Norland and see what is causing the lightning storms that are preventing the ships from leaving the harbour. During the meeting as well, Lucious suddenly spoke to Axi with everyone present and said in a strange voice that Axi’s patron has a task - to go to Flamested, find a wizard underwater, and get a scroll from him to give to his patron. After Lucious gave this news, Alecia called the meeting ended as there wasnt much else to be said after.

With that, the party left and headed back to Top Tinctures and Tonics where they then received a letter. It contained a sending stone each to communicate with Svetlana if need be, as well as what appeared to be a deed to an airship that the party then called The Argo II. Due to your courage and bravery for killing a dragon, wiping out an army, and for all intents and purposes letting the queen know about a possible invasion, she deemed this reward adequate. The party now had a decision to make:

Do they leave for Gnarhelm and deal with Sckips’ parents?
Do they go to Norland on the Queens request and find the source of these lightning storms so the fleet may leave the harbour and reinforce Caer Callidyrr?
Or do they head to Flamested for Axi and retrieve whatever scroll is hidden away by this underwater wizard?

Session 36

Before deciding on where to go, Kreilor wanted to share the good news of the airship with her sister Tanari. The rest of the party decided why not tag along and have another look at the grandeur of the Historical Histories museum and also see whats around.

Upon entering, Tanari appeared to be redoing some areas of the museum with her druidic powers, which seemed to be the reason why the place was so empty. Tanari welcomed the group and brought them to her office where they spoke and she celebrated with the group their acquisition of an airship! Once celebrations were ended, Tanari took her leave to continue with the renovations but allowed the group to stay as long as they liked. Unfortunately due to what appeared to be a slip in her story of who her husband was, Us convinced Hamwise to look into Tanari’s desk for anything of use or value to the party for any reason. What Hamwise discovered however was more than shocking; it appeared that Tanari had several letters and plans regarding some rebellion on the mainland, with some letters being address to Tanari, to someone labelled W.H., and it appeared to all be in relation to battle plans, movements of Galdeth‘s forces, and other strategic information. With this revelation, the party went to Tanari and confronted her about it. She appeared concerned intially when she saw the papers but appeared to give in and asked the group to return to her office so she could state the truth…however as this happened she appeared to gasp in pain as blood began to soak her front, where a blade appeared, followed by a man behind her. Omaric had found, followed, and ambushed them.

With this, a great fight ensued, where Omaric threw a Cataclysm Fireball at the party, causing significant damage, while Tanari began to heal everyone and the rest of the group took cover to attack. During the battle as Omaric appeared to be dealing a death blow to Kreilor, a figure appeared; a flowing red robe, half-elven features, dirty blonde hair, and a strange headdress with smaller dragon designs petruding from it - Wilber ‘Warlock’ Holmes had appeared to protect his sister-in-law. After the battle and after Tanari was killed then brought back by Wilbur’s magic, the group all went back to the study to discuss what had just happened and who Tanari and Wilbur were. As the party was about to enter the study again, Us noticed Hamwise’ mask was still on. He decided he wished to see what was under the mask or at least figure out the masks significance. However upon reaching over and grasping the mask, Us felt a mental presence enter his mind and force itself past his mental defences with a single word; “Don’t“. Us; mind reeled in pain as the mental intrusion suddenly departed, leaving us stunned and Hamwise angry, telling Us that if he tried that again, he wouldn’t hesitate to end him. After this little toss, they entered the study with the rest of the party members seemingly watching on and observing them from afar.

Wilbur stated that he managed to escape from Galdeth in his initial rise to power and sought Tanari out. From here they both decided they needed to protect The Sword Coast from Galdeth and moved her museum from the Outer Plane of Elysium and relocated it to Alaron where it was far enough away from harm but close enough to do good. From here, both Wilbur and Tanari have been aiding in the rebellion on the mainland and gathering intel to finally make a proper stand against Galdeth’s invasion. The party were shocked at this but also understood the need for secrecy. From here, the party decided to leave them be but said they may be willing to aid in the fight against Galdeth at a later stage once their plans in the Moonshae Isles have finished. Kreilor however, stated she may want to stay back once the party decides to move on as she wants to stay by her sister if she is in constant danger. And after Omaric’s attack, she feels it best to protect others from villains like him. From here, the party took their leave and agreed to stay in touch with Kreilor and that they would absolutely be seeing her again.

Session 37

After leaving Historical Histories, with solemn hearts the party spent the next day preparing themselves for their departure to Flamested in order to held Axi with his patrons request 8. To Flamested!. After discussing with Ugir, the party headed off, leaving Krelior behind knowing they will meet her again.
