Yesterday’s events happened today
On our travels to Nitefort, we saw two brothers got attack on the fork in the road. One was stabbed through which we tried to save and the other was taken by the bandits of Githyanki. Traces of smoke appear above the mountain range and the party went to investigate the source. Found a castle that once belong to the infamous Necromancer. Which now shelters some of the citizens of Corunite. Who escaped from the siege of the bandits taking over their town. Made a plan with the rebels to retake the town. During the fight, most of the Githyanki were able to escaped, to a different plane with an hostage. Above in the sky a mysterious light beamed down to where the castle stood. With brutal effort, the party was able to detain one of the seers (leaving him without arms). The poor captive could never be able to jerkoff again.
Interrogated the prisoner to gleam information as to why the Githyanki were adducting the people. Found out they were trying to sacrifice the citizens to summon a demon/fiend to take over the land. Mingo’s eye grew dark as he plunged his dagger into the heart of the seer having no recollection as to what transpired. With the seer’s dying breath, place a cursed of Osybus onto the party once more. Deciding what to do next, the party split up, one to traverse the mountains. While the other took a short rest before making their way. Once at the castle, the advance party waited for the other members to catch up. Made our way through the gates but saw no sign of life. Went with the town folks to investigate the Southwest tower, to see if their brethren were hiding there. Saw there were a struggle and fresh blood on the stone floor. Tried to open a door that was broken into. Otis flew to the top of the doorway to gather information only to be charmed by a Succubus. The party stepped into the tower room only to be greeted by the Succubus and two other fiends. In the ensuing battle, we lost the other three town folks. As the battle concluded, dark clouds appear, as it begins to rain.
