Sunday Evening

Rah-Gu outskirts

Sunday Night we arrive in Rah-Gu around 9pm. People are working the fields and we walk past the guard saying good day. Otis asks about food, but we call bullshit cuz robots don’t eat.

Pub Row

We head to Pub Row and and enter a tavern. We find a half orc woman that’s a 10/10 and a Tiefling woman that’s a 1/10 and a male Tiefling that’s also a 10/10. The orc and male Tiefling are showing some chemistryyyyy. Barr goes up to the group and as asks if we could join them. The female Tielfing greets us like a rapy elmo. She introduces herself as Juniper. She introduces her brother Wilhelm and her friend is Tilda. Barr gives Tilda a nice firm handshake lookin her up and down. The tension becomes awkward. Barr offers a drink. Otis introduces Barr as the bane of kraken’s bay. Tilda wants to put his toughness to the test. She starts humming and clanking her drink and the rest of the pub begins humming and a few others begin to clank their drinks as well and Barr and Otis clank their drinks as well.

They go to a center table in pub row and are joined by 5 others, a sixth mystery person comes out and quietly joins the table. A bartender brings out a round of drinks for everyone. After round one Brick cannot hold down his drink and is knocked out of the competition. Otis is keeping the beat of the humming. The second round of drinks comes out. Little dwarf woman can’t hold it down and is knocked out. The third round comes out and it’s a SHOT OF DRAGON’S BLOOD for all. Tilda barfs its up, Pickles barfs, shits and is forever banned from the competition. The cloaked figure stands stumbles does a light bow excusing herself and she falls. Otis, Bar and Orion only remain. They bring out a normal beer for everyone and scrape off a small black root into everyone’s beer. The final round is sudden death. Everyone knocks back their drink. Barr opens his eyes and he sees himself in a blazing inferno sitting like a teddy bear. He sees images of people he’s met in his life the being violently tortured. Melting his armor Delimir made, and breaking his antique weapons. Otis opens his eyes and sees nothing. He begins to hear voices, questioning what he’s done and saying they need to wipe his memories. Orion sees some shit and outsiders see Otis and Barr in a trance mumbling to themselves and see Orion scratching his eyes convulsing and passing out. Otis starts mumbling to himself that he’s a great asset. Barr starts saying to himself “he’s a teddy bear”. Otis opens his eyes and he sees people standing above him. Barr sits there because he feels helpless. Barr and Otis at the same time tweak out and fall to the ground convulsing. Mingo goes over and heals a poison and Barr snaps out of it. The barkeep brings out a little gold medal and sticks it on Barr’s armor that says Rah-Gu drinking champion. Collecting 8 of these badges from around the realm and bringing them to the capital Pub Row you can challenge the 4 regional elites with no rest and upon beating them allows you to challenge the champion. Barr helps Otis up and we notice the mystery girl stumbling away and Daemos follows her and Barr, Otis, Mingo gives Otis 5 more health points as he is still unaware the bird is a robot…. Barr asks the barkeep on the way out what the name of the root was and it was the devils root. Daemos takes note of the bar keeps possession of the devils root AND his refusal to sell us any of the root.

Streets of Rah-Gu

The cloaked figure turns around and Barr and Otis pretend to make out pinned against a wall and Otis is making a low moaning caw and the Cloaked girl is thoroughly uncomfortable and doesn’t turn around the rest of the time. The girl goes to bridge and begins to dance on the edge and twirling around and begins to fall, Barr reaches out to grab her and catches her as a boat passes underneath. As she falls he cloak reveals her face and Violi recognizes her as his childhood friend Skie Nara daughter of Mary Nara Lady of Air. Skie gets mad at Barr for catching her slurring her words that the boat was her ride home. She escapes Barr and hitches another ride to escape to the dock outside the Water Lord’s estate. Otis flies Violi over to the dock and drops him off next to Skie. Skie does not recognize Violi at first and when she comes to realize and accept that Violi is actually she slaps him in the face and becomes upset. A small argument between the two ensues which culminates with Skie preparing scream and attract attention. Otis blows extra wind into her lungs as she prepares to do this catching her off guard and stopping her. Violi explains his past month to Skie with Otis listening carefully to not omit any details with an antenna coming out of his head. Mingo STILL not realizing Otis is a robot is truly beginning to question his own sanity and reality of the universe. Skie leads us to a “safehouse” (possibly a drug haven) in the Air District and we discuss next steps. Skie is convinced to get Terra and continue the conversation outside the museum. Skie leaves to retrieve Terra and the group leaves to meet them by the museum.

Mingo continues tripping balls as we make our way to the museum. Upon meeting up with Terra and Skie, Terra explains the current state of Rah-Gu saying that Violi’s dad is becoming unnaturally powerful and Skie’s mother who usually keeps him in check is struggling to do so. Violi reveals the strange encounter about the oil the and the barkeep in Lynryc wondering if that has anything to do with it. Mingo reveals a vial of oil and in a confused state drinks the vial waiting for it to have some kind of reaction. Violi agrees that when his powers return he will work with Terra and Skie to try and return normalcy to Rah-Gu. They say they need to go to Rah-Gu’s tomb to investigate and Skie and Terra agree they can sneak up to 3 people through the Lady of Air’s estate to the RBW center which holds the location of Rah-Gu’s tomb. Violi, Barr and Zieg will join Terra and Skie to enter the tomb while Otis and Mingo hang back and observe the city.

Split Party

RBW Center

Skie and Terra lead the 3 through the Air Lady’s estate and bring us to the RBW Conference Center. They move over a bookcase and it leads down a stone staircase down to a long hall with a statue of a tall Tiefling with black candles holding a sword in its right hand and his left hand empty. Violi will walk up and cup the statue’s balls and reads the plaque stating “Here lies Rah-Gu Hero of the Battle of Parma “not evil” hated by a few revered by a many long may he live” . Zieg sees that the left hand is more warped that the right hand is of the statue. In the left hand there is a green discoloration and on the right hand with the sword there is a strong change in the rock.

As Violi touches the statue he is greeted with a vision of shadowy figure and the room around him feels warm. The shadows offers 3 things in return for his pact.

Barr, Zieg and Violi try to inspect and pull out the sword of the statue of Rah-Gu. Zieg inspects the blade and it seems eerily similar to his family blade. Terra and Skie ask about Zieg’s home since the blade looks like his family blade after revealing he is from Arch grove. Terra seems freaked out because legend has it that the lost blade of Rah-Gu was stolen and purified by the a group of druids. Terra begins to question Zieg if he can purify the blades? For too long from the storied history of Rah-Gu we have been viewed from outsiders as evil. These blades that were wielded by Rah-Gu are touched by evil. Terra and Skie give Zieg the blade and ask him to purify the sword and wield it to help clean up the reputation of Rah-Gu. They leave the tomb to go meet up with the others.

Air District

Otis gives Mingo water from his water skin. Mingo plays with the water and eventually drinks them. Mingo stares up at the stars.

The group meets back up and go to a tavern to stay the night.
