Day 38

Rikavon and Korv

They spot a Bluestone Empire ship in the vastness of space. The being to approach Marlxn. Rikavon and Korv try to flee. The approaching ship sends an animal messenger, speaking Bluestone, Rikavon (and Kito) hear the message, saying something to the effect of Good day, then something about ships, woe, help (multiple times) and thank you. Rikavon sends back, in Bluestone “Shelter, safety is ahead, follow.”Rikavon convinces Korv (26 deception check) that there is “mutual aid” at the The Pale Citadel. The Bluestone ship appears as if it’s not fully crewed.
They will arrive tomorrow, in the evening. Krov is happy that Rikavon is helping a stranger in need.

Jacques, Ylossia and Kito

Kito prepares scrying and peers in on Marlxn. Kito overhears Rikavon and Korv talking about the Bluestone ship, and that they’re headed to The Pale Citadel. Kito watches the conversation with Rikavon and Korv. He understands most of the message from Bluestone, but only catches “Follow” in Rikavon’s reply. As we travel we pass the water planet Parv, the same planet thatClesek, Enyon and Neely are from. We drop the ship close enough to use the external comms, with Kito using dancing lights to cast red/silver lighting on the underbelly. Ylossia lets them know that we’re not from Chalcedon. Jacques and Kito travel down in a tender. When asked about how we came into possession of the ship, Kito tells them “Well, they started it.” (Persuasion check 23), they throw us a party. Kito tells the children about the adventures. Jacques is speaking with Clesek, noticing a certain ‘worshipful’ mood. Jacques mentions that if they swear allegiance to the Goldenbrews that they will protect Parv. Clesek does offer to travel to Gyridus KY the next time they have a ship to talk more about this.

Ylossia casts daylight on their shield and communes with their deity.
