Let the battles being!
(Lair action), The Albatross unleashes void effects on Bramble andRikavon. The Geminate Sylvester and unleashes Circle of Death on the party. Ylossia gets grappled by the Albatross, which then flies away. The choir’s chants being to affect space/time around the Albatross. Rikavon takes on her form of dread ( “A biblically accurate angel, full of beaks”)

Rikavon takes on their form of dread, becoming a “many beaked-being” and lets lose with eldritch blasts. Ylossia goes down, while still grappled 100 feet in the air. Rikavon, her horse, and a ghost (Walk into a bar…) manage a jump of 100 feet up to the The Albatross (with some help from Kito), thunder stepping away from the Albatross, back to the ground (on top of the horse, avoiding fall damage and possibly breaking the DM) The Albatross continues to descend, returning to the ground.

The Choir continues the chant, however void magic beings to permeates the air. The Albatross continues it attack Ylossia, and Rikavon, getting her prone. The Albatross threatens to kill Rikavon if Ylossia doesn’t give up the Portal Shard. Ylossia gives up their bag. Kito casts Presdigitation and draws The Albatross away with a fake shard. Drawing The Albatross away (and nearly dying because of it), Rikavon blasts The Albatross, dealing significant damage. The Albatross attacks Kito again, knocking him out. The shard disappears; The Albatross realizes the treachery, but not in time to avoid Ylossia’s sword (“Sword that bird, sword that bird”) Bramble sneaks up and cleaves The Albatross, killing it outright.

We walk back to the abbey, which takes up the rest of the morning and begin healing up.

We level up!

New Session

We help around the New School HQ after the battle. Bramble and Kito help rebuild the library. Ylossia provides some healing for the Geminate Sylvester and the Geminate Mishtan, then goes to commune with her god. Bramble goes and apologies to Geminate Sylvester for accusing him of being a void agent on Metsya Rikavon and Kito have a heart-to-heart, where Kito lets it slip that he’s from Atar. Ylossia. Ylossia goes and sleeps on the the Chalcedian Ship.

Our dreams over the night:

Bramble

speaks to Bramble (TLDR: I’m working with the Twins, we’re united against the Void, Keep doing what you’re doing.) Bramble asks about his daughter and he says that she will join the fight at some point

Ylossia

Treated to a vision of glory in the future, singing songs of Ylossia slaying The Albatross. Ylossia’s hunt was more legendary than the others.

Jacques

Has vivid, unsettling dreams, has been forcibly ejected from Mxlin, tumbling into the empty void. Jacques notices the absence of the Twins (the goddesses), but does feel the call of The Albatross, offering to help Jacques if Jacques gives himself up to The Albatross, whom offers to “restore” Jacques as “the rightful head of the priesthood.” The Albatross wants Jacques to find a way through the Shard Gate, where there is “Salvation for the Sheffans”.

#Kito
Has a mundane dream. Kito is back on Atar, at the farm and has a conversation with his mother

#Rikavon
Dreams about being in a desert, standing high upon an escarpment. The twins below, walking towards the wall. An Albatross flies in the sky, a Buzzard flying even higher. The ablatross hits the wall and dies, the buzzard finds a narrow gap and escapes through it. The wind smells vaguely like the sea.
