Day of Bahamut’s blessing

Next Day

Wake up at 9am the festivities begin at noon. Barr approaches the hermit and asks him his name, and asks him if he is Bahamut. He chuckles and reaches out his hand to shake Barr’s. He says his name is Ectar. Barr notices there is definitely something about this guy. Barr asks what about Bahamut he loves. And he asks does Bahamut seek love and that he seeks what the world has to offer. They stare longingly in each other’s eyes just nodding noting how much they love take long walks on the beach. He asks him to tell him his story. Ectar claims he is a wanderer that goes from town to town. Tossy asks when did you get here and he says he got here in the last 24 hours. He says he tends to come here on this day. He says there was something special about this place. He says he came from the south a path with no path observing something. Gorge Boosh is mentioned by Violi and the hermit asked what happened with him. Violi tells him that he is no longer with us and the hermit catches on that he was dead and asks how, Violi tells him the cause of death is uncertain and Barr tells him that he was judged by a jury of his peers. As the conversation ends he holds out his hand and asks for gold for this conversation. Zieg gives him a gold and Barr holds out his hand for a handshake and slips him 5 gold.

The kids ready for the festivities of Bahamut and get the light show ready and everyone piles their offerings. Everyone gathers in the amphitheater for the beginning of the play and as the challenged kid begins to orchestrate as a golden light comes shooting down from the sky and 7 petals begins to light up from the sky and from the ground rises granite and marbles slabs and the leaves land and form in to 7 golden dragonborn. The people immediately looked shocked and in awe as these creatures manifest and look straight up and stoically and the crowd doesn’t know how to respond and they turn in unison towards the kids and say begin.

God Slaying?

The play begins with the image of lights shining down on a freshly born baby wrapped in cloth(Bahamut) The 3 children enter the stage holding gifts for the birth of this new child. The light suddenly disappears as an image of a man appears snatching the baby from where it sat. The 3 wise men begin to chase the kidnapper and two of the wise men form tackle the kidnapper knocking the baby into the air and the third runs ahead catching baby Bahamut. They take the kidnapper into custody and pronounce him guilty and he must give up his first born to “do good” This is what makes Bahamut influenced into justice and judgment. An image of Bahamut’s life flashes quickly before the people and ends with a 15ft still of Bahamut standing before the people. The Curtains close as the singing of children begins to crescendo into the song of Bahamut. At the close of the song Tossy and Zieg put a great light show using their magic. The audience begins to applaud and as the applause dies downs Tossy makes an announcement to join everyone for the ceremonial first chisel of a statue dedicated to Bahamut at the entrance of the newly formed pyramid.

One of the golden dragonborn comes over to the Furries and Fiends and asks who organized the festivities. They say it was the Board of Festivities and he asks to have them summoned. He asks how the group thinks it went. Barr responds as it went well for a town of people enjoying the festivities and having fun, which was the goal. A female dragonborn comes up and converses with the other and turns into a golden canary and flies away. She flies above the clouds. He again asks how they thought it all went and asked where the story of Bahamut’s birth came from. Violi and Barr explain it is an artist’s rendition of what could represent a being of justice/judgment’s influence to power. Another female dragonborn comes up and even Barr feels intimidated by the presence due to its sheer size.

They ask what the pyramid is all about. Barr explains the offering of the beans the arrival of the fire, beer geyser and a pyramid that they believe to be cursed. The dragon born raises an eyebrow to cursed asking how so? Barr explains they believe it is a spirit of Bane. They don’t appear amused. Barr explains they crushed a statue and opened the sarcophagus to a visage showing up temporarily and they asked how strong it was. Barr says it yoked them up. They take this very seriously one might say 95% seriously. The big girls says you’re going to need to get everyone away from that pyramid. They begin to march in a phalanx formation towards the pyramid chanting an incantation. Barr runs ahead, with a bit more haste than how everyone exited the mines, to tell everyone to get back to the town square . As they begin to rush away passing the phalanx. Barr asks the phalanx how they can help. Tossy and Barr feel a heavy hand that feels like a healing pad on their shoulder. They say you’ve done enough you should step aside. Tossy casts invisibility on himself and tried to quietly walk in with them behind them. They again warn him at his own risk do not enter, clearly fully aware of his presence.

Tossy ignores their wishes and hides behind a pillar 35 feet away. Violi goes back to the town and chills with the crowd watching pyramid with Mingo. Barr is going to watch from the marble slab with Zieg. Zieg, Mingo and Violi see some lights. Barr runs in after later. The light intensifies, Barr and Tossy come back to the entrance. The ground rumbles as light escapes every crack of the pyramid. As it dissipates Tossy and Barr reenter the pyramid. The town seems to be reacting in fear, terror and amazement.

The group ponders creating merchandise that we are manufacturing beer cans that when chilled a blue pyramid appears. Working thought but they may be on to something her.

Tossy recants the story of what happened and pulls out the staff and shows the handprints of bane and that made him the god slayer. He pulls back his armor to reveal a tattoo that shines brightly. A light appears in the field of golden wheat and they hear a roar that the people wildly believe this is Bahamut giving his blessing to what has occurred in the city. The people roar and pick up Tossy and start tossing him up.

Bar is going to harvest some of the golden wheat before he leaves. 2 bushels, one to make some beer and another to plant. Tossy is also in his sour dough era so he is going to bring an additional bushel for that reason. Speak to Doth and select twins to come with us to the Keep to train as guards for the city to prepare for the potential influx of people coming to visit. The twins have 62% and 60% brains. We head out with a procession people are happy and life is great. We head directly to the keep. The group is going to travels along the tree line.

Path to Corunite

As the group goes walking Tossy looks down at his new staff as Bahamut calls to him and he feels a pulse and he attunes to the new weapon. He learns its name known as the Bane of Bahamut. The group takes note of the wildlife around, there’s some deer and midsized animals. The animals look melancholy and despondent. The forest is bereft of joy. The group approaches a small wind in the path where there appears to be a loosely trotted path that would lead to Nite forte and the crossroads they see a small halfling sitting on stump. He walks up to Zieg and says “hey, I haven’t seen you in ages.” Zieg says hey you mind introducing himself to his friends. His names Redgy he says goes way back with Zieg. Barr, Tossy and Violi give fake names while Mingo gives his real name. Barr puts his gold deeper in his pockets. Redgy turns back to Zieg and says come on tell them about all the times we had together. Zieg says he’s never met this guy. Redgy continues his charade. Barr questions him and the Halfling says uuhhhhh hey look a dragon and points in a different direction. Everyone except Tossy falls for this and Redgy turns and books it. Tossy is going to Misty Step ahead of him and trips him with his God Staff. Redgy doesn’t expect this and trips falling on his face. Tossy tries to pin him down with his staff the Halfling wiggles out gets back up and tries to run away. Barr comes running in and tries to catch up and spear tackles him . Not realizing his own strength Barr runs directly through the halfling tearing him in half obliterating his chest sending his upper half flying as his lower half drops. Barr finds 20 gold and puts it in his personal pouch. Sharr beams to Barr as he searches through the blood and guts and says that was good work, but you may want to be more discreet next time. As he searches through the remnants he sees a little silver ring. He feels a combination of the gods power and Ryan’s impatience to not having to attune to things all the time. Barr doesn’t feel any different. Violi turns to be like we ready to go and he hears a disembodied voice say you going to ask him why he was here? Violi notices Barr is gone and asks where he went. Barr continues to speak walks up to Violi touching his shoulder. Barr realizes this ring is a ring of invisibility. Barr is now an official champion of Shar.

The group ventures up and reaches Corunite Keep at Midnight. The fires of the forge are simmering through the brisk February air. Abel gets set up in the dorm room areas for the night. And the group turns in for the night

Next Day

Everyone wakes up at 7am. Everyone is going about their day. Poosha, Pulla and Abel are eagerly awaiting where they will be assigned. Delimira gives Barr a little manly courtesy. Delimira, Silas, Poosha, Pulla, Alice, Zieg, Violi, Tossy, Mingo and Barr gather in the center of the keep and begin to use the ring of 3 wishes to grant everyone resistance to Bludgeon, Piercing and Slashing damage. Zieg and Violi are down for 7 days and Tossy is down for 4 days.

Barr is going to spend the days preparing the plots of land around the keep for farming some of the wheat they brought from delete. Alice has been walking just kind of half alive. Abel is going take one of the sample of trolls to try and run some tests with Alice to try and cure her. Taking all of Abel’s actions. Violi and Zieg can never cast the wish spell again. Mingo is going to assist Silas in his work so he can help get the tinkering “dojo” set up. Barr is going to spend time training the Demeth twins as well as Poosha and Pulla. The first session is broad stroke to get an idea of their abilities. Poosha is more of a leader, and Pulla is more of a grunt type. The twins are young age of 20 they take it in but don’t really have much of a fighting or survival background. Barr gives a scythe metal to Delimira to use. Building up an armory, Barr supplies 2 staves, a mace, a nature staff, long sword and a short sword Mingo adds some chainmail as well to the armory. Delimira is going to study Mingo’s sword to enhance her skills. Barr would like to spend the evenings with Owlie going over the book of V . Once Tossy is back in commission he is going to play with each other’s magical wieners to learn about themselves. Mingo and Barr will take a trip to Rethal to turn in the troll tears and pick up another bounty.

The group sees behind the mountains on the second night a light and then a pop tend to hundred of miles away. Then feel a rush of cold sea air waft over the mountains and into the keep.
