The patrons of Corunite Keep get everyone breakfast for the long day ahead.

The group returns to the Earth Estate and get an update on current Coup preparations. The Seamus the son of the Water Lord was kidnapped by the resistance group and is negotiating his return on the basis that the Water Faction stays out of the Coup. Reports on Incinder’s location that he is at the Temple of Shar. Violi takes the group lie in wait at the Temple of Mask while Barr tries to lure Incinder in and Mingo waits outside to jump in and help Barr in case of emergency. Barr approaches the temple and using his blaze hands at the temple next to Incinder and a dark shadowy figure appears before him asking what his desires are, this shadowy figure is believe to be Shar or an Emissary of Shar and asks Barr to bring a sacrifice to the alter at midnight to receive new power. Barr tries to convinces Incinder to come to the temple of Mask, but Incinder refuses to go and wants Violi brought to him. Mingo goes to get Violi and brings him to the temple of Shar. Barr asks Incinder what he would do if Violi returned with power. Incinder said that would be a problem for him, but would believe in the power of Shar to guide him.

Violi shows ups and they begin to argue over who the rightful heir to the Fire Lord should be. Violi immolates himself showing off his own power attempting to intimidate Incinder. Incinder is unimpressed and continues to argue with Violi, with Barr attempting to mediate. The two come to an agreement to help each other in the downfall of their father Blazeoli. There is no determination on who would take control upon their father’s downfall, but both are open to continuing negotiating with the possibility of a violent negotiation being very likely. Incinder returns to the Fire estate as to note create further alarm, but also raises the point that Blazeoli is not currently in the city. The party returns to the Earth Estate.

Barr takes a side trip to the air district and will wander around the Temple of Selune and at night takes someone captive to sacrifice at the Temple of Shar. As he returns to the temple he summons the shadowy figure again and says he would be sacrificing a follower of Selune to the temple. The shadowy figure seems to be disappointed by this and gives Barr extra time to think about his decision and can return with another sacrifice if he chooses. Barr leaves the knocked out captive at the alter semi-unharmed, and returns to the Earth Estate without making a sacrifice.
