Temple occurrence

Forbidden Temple

The group clears a forest and see a temple. We see a red liquid and its producing symbols and runes. We see a black smoke coming from the base. We hear noises from the distance. Silence turns into a yell and back into silence. Violi inspects the runes with Ziegs help and they appear to be runes of necromancy. Violi, Barr, Mingo and Tossy all make themselves invisible upon approaching. Zieg cast pass without a trace and the group continues to approach stealthily. They hear chanting in a language that none of us recognize. Tossy casts comprehend languages. And he hears one of the people saying dark lord we give our power to thee and the others are saying rise. After much discussion and Tossy suggesting we should let them rise the Dark lord the group remembers they were hired to clear out the temple and bitches need to get paid. Barr runs up and kicks the door open approaches and freezes. All the people in the temple turn and see Zieg. Violi casts tongues on himself and in their language yells all hail the dark lord. A big Bear turns around and says leave Ceraxes has spoken. Barr approaches recognizing this as his father and asks what is he doing here. Ceraxes tells him to leave. Barr asks where his brother Araxas is and where his mother is. Ceraxes says his brother is in the village and his mother dead. Ceraxes reveals he is trying to bring her back from the dead. Barr and Ceraxes continue to argue on whether this is what his mother would have wanted. Violi tries to sneak around behind him but Coraxes notices and punches Violi straight in the face. Mingo asks him when she died and coraxes says it was a week ago. Barr asks how she died and says I’m done answering your questions.

Violi yells non-lethal strikes only and swings at Coraxes. Barr side steps his father and attacks one of the other skeletons and just dusts him in one swing moves to the next one and swings at him and adds a fire strike, He moves to the next one and dusts him too. He runs up to ANOTHER one and punches him knocking his head off but doesn’t die. Coraxes puts Violi into a choke hold and drags him to the back of the room. He bends over to grab something from an altar. Barr moves behind his father and the last skeleton tries to swing and him and Barr counters killing him. He moves behind his father and attempts to Grapple him. Tossy misty steps up to Coraxes and attempts to assist in grappling him. Zieg casts scorching ray on 4 of the skeletons and hits them all. Mingo attempts to shove him but just kind of gives him a nudge that does nothing. Coraxes gives up on Violi and throws him through the back wall and says enough. He walks up to a wall and activates a rune. Barr again attempts to convince his father that his mother would not want this. Mingo sneaks up and pokes Barr’s plug and gets him rock hard as he talks to his dad. Tossy uses eldritch blast on one of the zombie and hits him using only one beam even though he has full access to 3. Violi uses eldritch blast also, but uses its full power of three beams and blasts the same Skeleton away blowing the debris towards Tossy.

Coraxes activates the blood runes and drops to one knee. Violi far steps back up to the temple. Tossy cast fireball on the shadow beast. Barr tells his father we’ll finish this later and runs up to the shadow beast and hits him 2/3 times. Tossy begins to hear whispers in his head and lets out some shit that deals damage to everyone except Mingo. It obliterates the rest of the skeletons. The beast turns towards Coraxes and attempts to use power word kill. Mingo uses his healing on Coraxes to stop the power word kill. The shadow beast instead walks up to Coraxes uses the gate spell and tries to pull Coraxes into the gate. Violi and Tossy both attempt to dispel the gate but fail. Barr attempts to pull his father out, but the Shadow creature refuses to let go. Barr successfully pulls the urn away from his arms as he falls away and he falls he says “Son?”.

Knuckles

Wolfwoods

Violi tries to find a path and finds some tampered down grass and gets an idea of what direction to head to Triton. As they move along they begin to hear some howling. The group sees a clearing and decides to head to it. As the group gets closer the sound begins to be more clear and is saying go. There are 3 people and they are standing around a large rectangle with a line in the middle with two half circles. On the mid sideline there is a person and on either end line there is another humanoid. One of the endline people is a female. It appears as though there is something moving inside the rectangle. One side there is a yellow gooey slime going back and forth and on the other side a blue fish like slime. The yellow slime controlled by Dusty uses an electrical attack and is named mousy. Rainy loses and Rocky was judging and comes over to introduce himself. Collect the shmeres from all 8 trainers to compete against the elite 4 and slime champion. He sees Violi, Barr and Tossy’s slimes and tells us this and asks Mingo and Zieg why no slime. He pulls out a 1 gallon slime jug and tosses it over to them and asks if they would like to join the hobby. He tosses to Zieg and a blue slime comes out and gives another one to Mingo which has a hazardous waste sign on it. He cracks the lid to look inside and the slime glows the color of children’s poop after Chernobyl.

Barr and Violi line up for a battel and Mingo comes over and tries to pour something on Mal, Violi turns and punches him not know what’s going. He lets him do it and the Mal and Flan begin to battle. Mal misses with a hyper beam and Flan misses with a hypnosis. Mal recharges and Flan hits him with a mega punch dealing 16 damage. Flan uses quick attack and misses, Mal confuses himself. Flan attacks with another quick attack and hits for 20 damage. Mal uses metronome and evens the playing field with pain split. Flan uses hypnosis and misses, Mal uses flamethrower and hits for 18 damage. Mal uses extreme speed and misses. Flan uses dark impulse and hits for 12. Mal again uses extreme speed and Flan uses quick attack. They bash into each other and knock each other out. Rocky declares both unable to battle and it is a draw. Rocky says if you feel up to is when you’re ready I will be in the city of Keiri. He plays a magical flute that heals Mal and Flan. We are awaiting the gel bound chosen to take on the 4 dark masters. They’ve given up the style of gym style battles. Rainy lives in the city of Niska and Dusty is from the great city to the south actually far more east than south Ur-mumghey in the suburb called skid town. The group moves on

Triton

We approach some rolling hills which Barr recognizes as being near Triton. Barr continues across the rolling hills. As he crosses the fields he notices there are less crops than he remembers. The group reaches the main part of town and there are less people than you would expect. Nobody looks happy everyone is depressed. Aunt Gerdy recognizes Barr and gives him big hug. Barr asks why everything is so down. Aunt gurdy says it’s been this way since his father left and that his brother has been doing his best. She directs them to the tent of the leader and says he is tired. Barr gives her a hug goodbye. The town looks simple with no extravagance.

Leader Tent

Inside the tent there are intricate carvings on the beam. There are intricate bears and scenes of battle and learning and peace, different facets of being a part of the town. Barr enters seeing his brother who is large and imposing, but seems slightly malnourished surrounded by different grain and fruits and there are tomes with pictures and depictions of what the fruits should look like. Barr walks up and sets the urn in front of him. For one of the first times in Barrs life he sees his brother show emotion. He says Barr? You son of a bitch”‘ and gives him a big hug. He asks what of father. Barr says they heard of a plague and had to come down. Ronald Knuckles his brother says they haven’t been able to get the crop back to normal and they have tried everything. Barr asks how his mom died. It happened 3 weeks ago she suddenly came down with a sickness. It almost like the land was getting sick and it overflowed into her and killed her. Dad did not take it well, he was trying to make a pact with the devils. Ron asks what happened Barr explains and he say you must come quickly and pulls the group to an oak tree in the center of town.

Town Center

Barr examines it and sees nothing Ron tells him to look closer and Barr sees a similar style rune carved into the tree as what he saw in the temple. Barr asks if we checked the caves beneath the tree and they go down to check, but the cave seems cool and the roots seem pure. Barrs says it may be time to fell the tree and Ron gasps and sends a shudder of a collective gasp through the town. Barr rubs some of his moms ashes across the rune and it reacts slightly a wind rolls through the town. The sun begins to set on the tree as the town spends the day sharpening their axes and saying prayers attempting to purify their blades. Mingo approaches Ron aka Moose and tries to convince him to reach out to his fae deities to help out with this purification. Moose shows interest and considers the proposal. Barr reaches out to Shar and askes for guidance on this matter and she does not reach back out, but he sees symbols of Shar appear over his axe. Mingo spreads some dirt from the fae around and Barr spreads some ashes of his mother. Moose approves of both of these. Barr gets the feeling Shar approves of this because he would be removing the symbol of hope from a community. The town begins to hum and they swing their axes and with 100 Bears swinging at this thing the work comes quick. As the tree fall a black ook comes out and a smoke dissipates. They begin to mark it for cutting into a boat. Moose approaches Mingo and asks how do we even get to the Fae wild. Mingo explains the entrance is in a small clearing in the Wolfwoods. Moose asks for him to bring him and his people to the Fae. They will carve the tree into a boat in the meantime and take the next month to plan a pilgrimage to the Fae. Moose says there were 3 boners that had come through and left him some tools that would help with taming oozes, He hands the group 5 googievices to help store the oozes.
