Saturday

The party awakes to a bell ringing and the town crier yelling. Barr calls over the crier and he tells Barr the Head Families of Rah-Gu are all in turmoil. The Water Lord’s son has been kidnapped, the Fire Lord’s son who was believed to be dead has returned to the city, and the daughter of the Lady of Air had been murdered in the night, with Blazeoli being the leading suspect behind it.

6/26 Session

Earth Estate

Barr asks the town crier how Skie was murdered. He reveals that she was killed in her own bed. The body was stabbed and burned. Terra steps out yelling that Blazeoli had done it. The group goes up to the Air District to talk to Mairy to try and get her buy in to parading Skie’s body around the city to rally and unify the districts against Blazeoli. We meet with Terra to see what the circumstances of how the kidnapping of the Water Lord’s Son went down. She reveals that negotiations remain ongoing, but are just a stall tactic without revealing who was behind the kidnapping. Barr is going to go “lay the groundwork” on going to where the water son is being held captive(Underneath the Lord estates by the Rah-Gu statue) and tell him he needs to “Bear with him” and trust what he is doing will rescue him and casts searing ignition creating a ring of fire around Seamus.

Barr returns to the group, Mairy and Terra are preparing the funeral procession for Skie’s body. Mairy is dressing Skie in “royal” attire and Terra adorns her with jewels from the Earth family to show unity between the houses relating to her own families demise at the hands of Blazeoli. The group mulls overs inviting Incinder along with this procession to show a more united front amongst the districts. The group hears a knock on the door to the Air district and Incinder is there asking where are we Father is ready. Incinder was unaware of the murder of Skie. They show him the body of Skie and Incinder asks how we know it was Blazeoli behind it. Terra reveals that Blazeoli visited her in the dream last night as a warning saying “she should have left well enough alone”.

Funeral Procession around the Districts

Barr slaps a guard on the ass to get the procession moving. Barr stamps a staff and makes an announcement to behold the work of Blazeoli murdering their heiress. A crier follows closely trying to keep up with Barr and be as loud and prominent as he is. People begin to gather around to the horror and listen in to what is happening. Mairy makes a small, sad speech Violi creates a larger image of this throughout the Air District. Onto the water district they reveal the kidnapping of the water heir and that he is being held by fiery means in the crypts below the lords estate, further implicating Blazeoli’s attempt to divide the houses. Entering the earth District, Terra begins to speak and sparks an emotional response of the people and a large population of the earth district people begin to hand out shovels, staves and other potential weaponry amongst themselves as they gather and nearly everyone in the earth district joins.

Fire District

Upon entering the fire district near the coliseum everyone sees a mic drop down from the sky and Violi recognizes one person as the announcer of the coliseum and the other as Incinder. Incinder takes the mic and announces Violi will be fighting his Father in the fights pits to prove who is more powerful once and for all. Violi casts Far Step onto the stage and makes a speech to unite the people of Rah-Gu and rally the Fire District to stop living in fear of the cruel rule of his father. Incinder takes the mic and tells “all to gather” and as he does this Barr slams his staff on the ground to interrupt and make it difficult for Incinder to be heard. In response Incinder casts a spell that changes the gravity causing a mass number of people, Including the group leading the procession to lift up and he then cast gust to try and send them to the coliseum. As people begin to free fall Mairy casts a mass feather fall to prevent the people from dying. Half people float inside the coliseum and the rest fall outside with the leaders of the procession being part of the group that lands in the coliseum. Skie’s body lands on a flag pole. Blazeoli is sitting on a throne in the center of the coliseum observing all of this chaos ensue. Mingo jumps to try and get Skie’s body down from the flag pole. He pulls the body from the pull, but the feet are stuck and tear away from the body. Mingo and the body feather fall down to the ground.

Violi yells into the mic attempting to antagonize his father “I’m backkkkk”. Violi and Incinder argue unknowingly over a hot mic. Violi points out that Incinder was just recklessly endangering people of the city. Incinder states that at the end of the this day only one of the sons will be in the city at the end of the affair. Throughout the exchange the city gets the idea that Incinder is after selfish means while Violi seems to give off that he has the interests of the people of the city. Blazeoli exits the coliseum. Violi covers the mic and turns to Incinder once again offering to him to make a decision on who he will back. Incinder walks towards Blazeoli and says he tried to get Violi in the coliseum, but he wouldn’t come. Violi looks around to see if his allies had joined him outside the coliseum and says “Flame on” casting a spell to incinerate himself with flame. This puts the crowd in awe even as Blazeoli shows off him own impressive tower of flames, however the crowd is still focused on the return of Violi and his apparent magical powers.

Families Feud

Fire District Coliseum

People begin backing up away from the encircled group. We see a red dragon come flying down. Zieg sees Blazeoli whisper something in Incincder’s ear as combat begins.

Turn 1

Blazeoli
Teleports behind Violi and says “You were always a disappointment.” and Slashes at him with what appears to be a dragon like claw extending from his arm. Deals 22 force damage and swings again and deals 46 more damage.

Terra
Is going to attempt a comet blast and misses with the first strike and hits with the last two. Dealing a total of 27 damage to the dragon.

Dragon
He (or she we actually never really confirmed this so may even a they don’t want to assume the gender #PC) will bite Mingo to deal 20 piercing damage and 9 fire damage. Then it claws at Mingo dealing 19 slashing damage and then it smacks Terra in the face with his tail for 10 damage.

Incinder
Incinder using chilling touch to attempt to attack Terra and Mairy, but Tim rolls two nat 1s and Blazeoli expresses extreme disappointment in him as he begins to question whether he should have brought Incinder into battle

Barr
He charges forward right up on homie(Incinder). He swings at Incinder(homie) yelling “I thought we connected at the shrine” and hits him for 20 damage. He swings again at him and adds a storm strike dealing 22 damage. He attacks AGAIN dealing 10 additional damage. As a bonus action he swings his Barr claws dealing 5 damage.

Zieg
Casts aura of vitality. He heals Violi for 10 much needed health and moves slightly

Mingo
Uses a rabbit hop to disengage the dragon and stands next to Violi. Then casts spiritual sword. And places it next to Incinder.

Mairy
She bursts forward with magical energy towards Blazeoli. Dealing 12 damage. She also heals Violi for 10 HP.

Violi
Places Hexblade curse on Blazeoli. Casts Eldritch blast and hits one time for 12 damage…

Turn 2

Blazeoli
His mouth dislodges and a fiery psychic energy wretches into their souls and everyone except Zieg and Terra takes 30 psychic damage

Terra
Is going to conjure a giant mass of earth and the sun feeds it energy as well as the screams of the citizen around the fight. She drops it on Blazeoli and he will take damage on his turn, but is blinded and deafened as the earth obscures his appearance.

Dragon
It’s going to blast Zieg, Mingo and Mairy with a Fire blast. It deals 60 damage total to everyone. Mingo goes down.

Incinder
Tries to dominate person on Barr, but he saves. He calls a hound of ill omen next to Barr. The hound attempts to bite Barr but it misses.

Barr
Attacks Incinder and hits for 22 damage, second attack hits for 13 damage and hits for a third strike for 9 damage. As a bonus action claws him for 8 damage.

Zieg
Attempts to hold person on Incinder, but he saves. Then heals Mingo for 8 hp reviving him from a near death experience.

Mingo
Heals himself for 11 health. Uses his spiritual weapon, but misses.

Mairy
This bitch is getting sick of it. She is going to “heal everybody”… and attacks the dragon shooting bursting magical energy dealing 36 damage and provides 10 health to Violi after looking at Mingo and being like I don’t fucking know that guy

Violi
Moves away from Blazeoli and casts a hex on Incinder. Blasts him with two Eldritch Blasts and kills him… but Incinder uses his cuck magic to roll a nat 20 and “rises like the pussiest of phoenixes” and rises back with 72% of his health back(Still call bullshit).

Turn 3

Blazeoli
He takes 14 damage from his shit. But before that happens something else happens. He is then going to stumble out of the magic dirt bubble and provokes an attack of opportunity from Mingo and Mairy. Mingo misses, but Mairy deals 16 damage. He is disoriented turns around claw attacks Mairy and Crits her once and hits again dealing 47 damage.

Terra
She is going to drop 3 of those dirty comet things on him, but only hits with one for 17 damage and make him make a strength check but he passes.

Dragon
Rolls for self-control and passes, turns towards Terra and hits her 3 times for 55 damage.

Incinder
Uses his cuck magic to pull some water out of everything and downs Mingo(again) and hits Mairy for 21 damage and Violi for 43 damage. He says canonically “Wow Barr you don’t look like you’re sweating anymore.” hahahaha….

Barr
Attacks Incinder dealing 18 damage on the first attack, 11 on the second attack, and 23 damage on the third attack. Incinder also gets disadvantage on attack rolls until his next turn. He also claws him for 8 damage.

Zieg
Casts Mass Cure Wounds and heals all the allies for 20 health each. This again saves Mingo from yet another near death experience.

Mingo
Attacks hitting twice and adds a divine smite dealing a total of 41 damage. The spiritual weapon will attack Incinder but miss.

Mairy
She is going to slash at Blazeoli twice with her blade and hits with both. Dealing 19 slashing plus 34 force damage. As a bonus action she looks over to Violi saying this is a fight between the elders. Turns to Mingo and summon a shield to hover around him.

Violi.
Yells “Just stay down” to Incinder and throws a Eldritch blast at him. He is downed after the Second hit and takes an extra blast.

Turn 4

Blazeoli
Realizes shit may not be going his way anymore and is going to teleport onto the dragon and cast wall of fire between the dragon and everyone else and lighting Terra on fire for 17 damage.

Terra
She is going to attempt to cast mass suggestion on the dragon and Blazeoli suggesting to them it would be honorable to stay and fight, but she fails.

Dragon
It dashes away(Coward)

Incinder
Rolls a death save and critically fails. As he gets a last breath he notices his father has left him and the last sight Incinder will ever see is his father abandoning him while mortally wounded in battle and he ponders maybe papa is a coward after all. As he dies Incinder’s phantasmal penis passes through Violi’s ass and Violi’s penis grows 3 inches to the size of a normal man of 4 inches. (The penis growing is canon… The phantasmal penis thing is up for historical interpretation.)

Barr
Is going to hold his action to throw Violi

Zieg
Is going to cast Ice storm and deals 11 total damage to Blazeoli and 14 damage to the dragon

Mingo
He does nothing but look like a handsome bunny… well actually he is going to stab Incinder’s already dead body

Mairy
Does nothing

Violi
Barr picks up Violi and hucks him in the direction of the dragon. Violi casts eldritch blast and crits twice on the attack as the first two beams combine into one and strike Blazeoli dealing another 45 damage. Blazeoli is staggered by the attack, which is different from other attacks on him. He turns the dragon towards Violi as storm clouds begin to roll in and he sees the shadow of the dragon above the clouds begin to head back towards Violi.

7/17 Session

Rag-Gu Dragon Catastrophe

We see a dragon come towards us and as it pierces the veil we see ice beams come down and a massive undead white dragon comes through the clouds.

Still turn 4

Terra
Rolls low on her resolve and asks if we should abandon the city. Mairy says no. Barr wants to take Incinder’s body to the temple of Shar. Terra asks if he thinks it will help us with the battle. Barr thinks it might so she opens a dimension door to the temple.

Barr
Took the body of Incinder into the temple of Shar and runs up to the altar.

Zieg
He thinks back and remembers hearing stories of the final battle between a great evil and a band of heroes before the reign of the necromancer. He remembers reading about a gargantuan white dragon that fell during battle. He read that it was one of the oldest known dragons and most powerful in the land. Looking at the size it doesn’t seem to match the mythos of what he had read. It still looks menacing and determines it’s probably immune to lightning damage. He then yells to the citizens run and take cover as he runs south….

“The Big Guy”
He doesn’t see Violi below him right away until he sees 3” of a cock sticking out. The dragon is too cocky so instead of trying to take out everyone he is going to line up directly with Violi and Zieg and breathes lightning breath downing Violi and dealing 37 damage to Zieg.

Mingo
Is going to run to the corner hiding and healing himself. Big Boi takes a legendary action to smash his tail on Violi making him quite close to death, one might say a single roll away.

Mairy
Is going to shoot a couple laser beams at the dragon. She realizes that the lightning breath had seared the metal armor that the guards had been wearing to their bodies. She puts an extra charge into her beams and deals 32 damage with her first attack and 35 with the second attack.

Violi
Saves on his death rolls avoiding death for one more turn.

Turn 5

Terra
Turns to the portal and peers in the temple where Barr is.

Barr
Cuts both himself and Incinder and casts little fire spell to attempt to talk to Shar. He sees the blood begin to take shape in the visage of a woman. Shar asks you “dare bring me a dead devoted follower.” Barr hopes to revive Incinder using Shar’s power, but Shar says every reward requires a sacrifice. Shar asks Barr if he is willing to sacrifice everything. “Secret discord typing” Barr looks up and says I can think of nothing more that I love than the people of this realm and the beauty of it. He torches his eyeball. He pulls out his eye and places it in the chalice as it hisses and screams. She says Shar’s followers are rewarded. He notices an absence where his left eye was(now has permanent disadvantage on perception checks.) He notices Incinder’s body twitch and rise and sees a light from inside pulls out goes to the north.

Zieg
Moves closer to the dragon and summons a wildfire spirit. Heals Violi and uses the spirit to teleport him a bit away from the dragon.

“Big Boi”
Doesn’t notice Violi teleport away and moves towards Zieg. He is going to attempt to bite him but misses and on the next attack crits and the third attack hits pretty hard. He deals 39 piercing and 9 lightning damage. Then hits for 18 piercing and 1 lightning damage, downing Zieg.

Mingo
Is going to run closer to Zieg until he is within misty step distance and then teleport next to him and hunker down behind his shield. The dragon is going to do a wing attack to hit both Mingo and Zieg. He deals 16 bludgeoning damage and knocks Mingo prone

Mairy
Is going to swing her spell at this thing. Mingo notices it appears as a noble gas. He also notices a darkness begins to surround the bolt, but instead of it appearing as a pure noble attack that Mairy is used to it appears as a dark energy is guiding the bolts into the weak spots of the dragon. Dealing 36 and 32 damage.

Violi
Hexes the dragon and proceeds to miss with all three of his eldritch blasts. The dragon swings his tail at Mingo and deals 16 bludgeoning damage.

Turn 6

Terra
Notices Barr in a trance then turns around missing an eye and sees Incinder convulsing. She is going to cast a spell attempting to detect Barr’s thoughts(Kyle verbally acknowledged that he was manipulated by Ryan) She understands the context of what just happened and why.

Barr
Is going to ask Terra if she can cast another dimension door, but she says it can only be done once per day. So he runs closer to the edge of the battle getting a second wind of 12 health.

Zieg
Fails a death save putting him at 2

“Home Boi*
Is going to use his lightning breath downing Mingo and killing Zieg as his armor melts to his skins like the others around him

Mingo
At the end of Mingo’s turn Mairy is going to teleport between Mingo and Zieg’s body.

Mairy
Mairy will look up at the dragon and down at the heroes below her. We notice a power and energy swirling around as darkness and light bounce around her as she strikes at the dragon again. Her first attack will deal 79 damage. The enxt attack will deal 35 damage. As this black energy manifests and shatters around this dragon weighing it down making it unable to fly.

Violi
Strikes it twice with eldritch blast knocking its wings off and finishing of the dragon once and for all?.

End Combat

As the dragon falls Mairy finishes charging a powerful spell and says Rise new champion of Rah-Gu and casts revivify on Zieg bringing him back to life.

The group notices the eyes of the dragon roll and it begins to decay and melt as a stench begins to trump the smell of the burning bodies around it. The body begins to meld and dissipate into a smelly gooey conglomerate. Barr was observing from the distance and noticed the dark strikes of Mairy may have been influenced by Shar.

The battle finishes and the group observes the results of battle as the death toll appears to be around 281 citizens of Rah-Gu. Barr is going to cut the wing and collect a vial of dragon blood. He then “rolls up his fur” and reaches into the goop. He feels a familiar shape and begins to part the goop. He picks up the object and notice what appears to be Barr’s eye in the “object” and it appears to take shape into an Asamar. There is one eye that appears to be Barr’s and another eye of the dragon. The individual takes a breath and thinks wow this must be the experience of a new born baby. It asks if Barr can get him out of here. Barr picks him up and puts him down. Barr starts to wipe him off. The individual asks him to lick him cuz it would be easier… Barr says no.

Barr asks him who and what are you. You just came out of a dragon,

It asks if that goop was once a dragon, Barr says yes he killed it pointing to Violi “The Dragon Slayer”. The individual sees Violi and feels like he knows him as he thinks back he feels nostalgic happy memoires as well as a burning anger.

Barr is apparently taking a father figure role to this new individual(Papa?) because he was the first thing he saw upon entering the world.

Violi ask s if he knows his name. He doesn’t know his name but it might come to him in a couple days.

Mingo goes to put his ear up to his chest and knock on his stomach. Barr tries to pull him away. Mingo ears pulls away from the slop on his stomach and he knocks against the goop and as he is pulled away he notices no knock of metal.

Barr says to “Tossy” you should stick with us for a bit.

Violi attempts to make a speech and it’s a mediocre speech about driving out the tyrant and overcoming a creature of mass destruction. Mairy attempts to make a speech about bippity boppity which doesn’t carry on. Terra begins to make a speech and it reaches the people.

Violi orders a few people to begin to clean up the dead body of the dragon and orders another to go fetch Ozil. He asks Mairy and Terra how they think they should take care of the fallen citizens. They think building funeral pyre to burn the bodies and create a memorial for the dead in front of the coliseum to replace the statue of Blazeoli that is currently standing. A group of people begin to pipe up to try and blame the events on the fire folk. Violi makes a unifying speech to quell the sparks of resistance against the fire people.

Barr is going to return to the temple of Shar and attempt to reach out to no avail. He makes another plea to Shar and as he looks over to a mirror he begins to see a the now empty eye socket begins to darken and a purple circle goes around it representing the holy symbol of Shar.

Upon investigation of the dragon goop it does look like there is some kind of oil, but looks different. The oil at Memnarch’s seemed to have been manipulated in a few ways, but this has been manipulated in a way we have yet to have seen.

The party regroups at the Air estate and after taking a long rest.
