Created by Hylia and Goddesess, The Light Spirits act as the guardian angels of the light within Hyrule.
A Legend goes, long time ago, a tribe of Dark Interlopers who excelled in the dark magical arts tried to take control over the Sacred Realm and lands of Hyrule. Not allowing this to happen, the goddesses had the Light Spirits stop them. The Light Spirits sealed The tribe to realm between realms the Twilight Realm with sacred artifact called the Mirror of Twilight.

After their task was complete, their new purpose had become to keep watch over and prevent the Dark Intelopers returning, as well as seek and destroy any renmants or evil on par to Intelopers to ever rise again, but after some time, these spritis of Light have become silent and dormant, almost lost to time.

Few very devout followers of Goddesess stil worhsip these Guardians as well, and weaponry and construst made in their image is still found all across Hyrule’s ruins.
