In olden days, roughly 50 years ago, Zoras had an friendly rivalry with Gorons when it came to their skills, but after the decline of the world due to Calamity, that rivalry became bitter, which ended up causing a war between Zoras and Gorons, known as “War of Mountains and Sea”. The conflict lasted 6 years until Gorons revealed their secret defense weapon, Biggoron Cannon. This cannon had devastating fire power, but unmovable from it’s location due to it’s gargantuan size & weight, while having the source of it’s destructive power being the volcano it is build on. The Cannon wiped out Zora’s frontal assault fleet and caused war to end on Zora’s surrender, but the conflict is considered a stalemate, due the weapon being unmovable and capable of only firing around Death mountain, thus not considered nothing more than detergent & Goron Empire’s greatest defense.
